Nope, not yet unfortunately. I've got loads on at the weekends just now & the friend of a friend is also proving tricky to pin down for some help. Itching to get them on though, 4x4 is doing my head in!

Now that is a PITA. Mind you, I guess it's better happening now than when you've got the charger fitted!! V jealous of the recent developments to your motor. A fancy a Schrick, but thats at the end of a very long list at the moment! Hope you get the tensioner fixed fairly quickly. Mine is currently have an alternator & tensioner fitted, it's been 2 days without it now though...

Alfa Romeo 156 / 147 GTA 3.2 V6 - Discuss!
Dogzyboy replied to double-6s's topic in General Car Chat
I'm a big fan of them too. I've nearly bought a GTV a couple of times in the past, but was put off in the end by the electrical gremlins. Hopefully Alfa have that particular issue sorted now, as the GTA is awesome. -
Good stuff. Cheers guys. I'll give that a bash tomorrow.

Yup, what he said ^^^.

Perhaps your car had shorter shocks fitted with the Weitec springs? By only changing the springs you would not then solve the problem.

The seat back adjusters on my VR rattle all the time as these seem to be really loose. Does anyone know how to either tighten them up or remove them, as it's not immediately obvious... :? Couldn't find anything through the search either. Cheers, Doug

15" tyres on 19"x 9J wheels!?! Now thats putting new limits on the stretch effect!!!

Now why couldn't VW have done all us Corrado owners a favour & just made them at that ride height in the first place. I see you've added a Schrick to your list of impending mods!! Awesome! Have you just robbed a bank or sommat!?!?! Very jealous, yer motor is looking great. Not had time to get the BMC on yet, I'll get it done this weekend, and hopefully the coilies in a couple of weeks. Keep up the good work! :)

This was just about the case in my mate's VR6 Golf last week. We only noticed it by chance, lucky it didn't jump out whilst driving really.
-
Fantastic stuff mate, it looks spot on. I guess it's been well worth the wait then! That's exactly the look I'm hoping to achieve with mine when I get my coilies fitted.

All the soddin birds around me seem to have something against my car. No matter how many times I clean it, the next time I come to drive it there is bird cr@p on it.... Mind you, it could be worse, it could be the burds around me cr@pping on it, now that would be bad!! :)

Awesome.....Mucho jealousy.... 8)

cam pos sensor? where and how and how much
Dogzyboy replied to matt_corradovr6's topic in Engine Bay
I believe there is a CRANK Pos sensor & a CAM pos sensor (also know as hall sender). The Crank sensor is about £140 or so & the Cam sensor is onlyu about £40. How do you know you have to replace this in the first place? -
Wow. Absulutely stunning...

Happy days. Rob with no money for a while!! Perhaps I can stop drooling every month when you post pics of your latest upgrades!!

They are blingin' mate! :thumb right:

Lowered my VR6 by 40mm..but not happy with ride..HELP??
Dogzyboy replied to DUBST4R's topic in Drivetrain
Me & you both Goldie. Still holding off buying the new sus as I dont wanna buy 40mm & it still be too high! Can't afford coilies just now, so Koni Sport Kit is looking like my plan at the mo. -
Don't propose to the missus before getting at least some of your plans for the car done first.....doh! :(

It helps a bit, but not a lot! I couldn't be bothered removing the centre console either! If you have the time & the patience, then it's possible to do it without removing it, though it is fiddly.
-
Yeah, that is a bit of an issue!! Perhaps thats why I found it so damn fiddly!?! :) Maybe removing the centre console is a better method then?
