Anyone know much about Peugeot turbo diesels? I need help!!
Dogzyboy replied to mrbeige's topic in General Car Chat
I've got one, but don't know a huge amount about them. What I do know though, is when I bought mine it wouldn't start, even after continual cranking, it still wouldn't go. The garage replaced the glow plugs & it has started fine ever since, and that was 2 years ago now. -
Is it not effectively the same 1.8T engine with a bigger turbo?? If so, it's something thats been done by many peeps on here. Have a search & you shall find!

cam pos sensor? where and how and how much
Dogzyboy replied to matt_corradovr6's topic in Engine Bay
I got mine a couple of months back from VW for just shy of £40. It's really easy to get to, just behind the coilpack. Probably 6 screws tops! -
If you're not really fussed about switching, then don't do it just "as a favour to your brother". However, if you do really fancy a VR6, then maybe this is a good way of switching? Just my tuppence worth!

Awesome. Great work mate, thank you. They do look great on it, though I'll have to decide if I like this look better than chunky five spokes!?! I see what you mean about the C on 17s without being lowered!! I was thinking I might get away with if for a few months but I guess I'll have to get the suspension done first after all! Once again, thanks for the help, much appreciated. :)

Nice one mate, much appreciated, thanks. Trying to read up on how to do it myself, without much success!

Any chance of someone doing a rough photo-chop for me with these on my car? I tried last night, and failed miserably, I have no idea how to cut out a circle...
-
Another vote for the R32. I'd take both the Mk4 & the Mk5 over the Leon.
-
Yep, you are right. I'll have to look into these reps a bit more & find out if they are any good. Thanks for the help guys. Cheers, Doug
-
Good point Herisites, hadn't thought about that! I did see some replicas, I wonder if they'd be any good? Probably pretty heavy.

Spotted these on a new shape RS4 the other day & thought they looked pretty sweet. :-P I was originally after some BBS RCs or RXs, but due to being broke, I cant afford them! These seem much more wallet friendly! First off, Does anyone have these on their C, or have a pic of one with them on? Secondly, what's everyone's opinions on them? I'd be putting them on a standard Mystic Blue Storm. Cheers.

You can get a coilpack here for £125.

Here you go: Now...Brooke Burke anyone?
-
My 2p worth - most folk on here advise getting genuine VAG bearings (SKF) as they seem to last a lot longer than GSF ones.

Hello Dave... :)
-
I too think that the gold bolts, silver inners & gold BBS centre cap would look great. Very subtle, but classy! 8)
-
I'll definitely pass on the Hydras then! Cheers.

I guess I just fell in love with this pic of A20 Lee's motor & imagined mine with the same wheels really! :) I get what you are saying though Goldie, maybe they are not quite in keeping? Can't decide :?
-
Hmmnn... :? Any idea what the BBS RC weighs in at for a comparison?
-
Not sure if they do them? Try Here

Thanks for all the replies folks. It's looking like a battle between the BBS RX's, the RH AG Cups & the RH ZW1s then!! :? Rado.001 Good find with those pics, both wheels look great on a Raddo 8) I think the ones on the 2nd car might be the RH AG Cups rather than the RH RW1s. I might actually like the AG Cups better than the RW1s, though only just!! The missus likes the RX’s best as the RH’s are ‘Too Chunky’ apparently! To be honest, I can’t even believe she was entertaining the idea of me getting new wheels!!
-
I'm after some new wheels for the VR but I can't decide what to go for. I've added some pics of the ones I like best. Can you please take a look & give me some advice as to which ones you reckon I should go for. Cheers

what are your perfect wheels for a 'Rado and why? Disc
Dogzyboy replied to vwdeviant's topic in General Car Chat
PhilK, Any idea what the wheels in your first pic are? They are stunning! Just out of curiosity, I wanted to find out, not that I could actually afford to buy them!! -
