Dave, many thanks mate...mine was a fitted a few days ago & it makes a really great difference. All the 'slop' has now gone & the gearchange feels nice & positive now, great little mod!!

As per the above posts mate, i've had both Toad & Cobra in my Rado's and they've both been great....had a Clifford 650 and it was nothing but hasstle! Would'nt ever have a Clifford again!!!

Watched 'Senna' last night after a friend lent me the DVD, great film and not just for the petrolheads IMHO as really showed you the guys humanity and what he did for Brazil as a person...as well as his incredible skill. 10 / 10

Hi, could someone answer a quick question for me as i've had a good read thru this thread yesterday, does the Blue Temp Sender in the 12v VR signal the ECU to turn OFF the Cold Map i.e. did some searching also yesterday & it sounds like this is the case but i'd just like to be sure. cheers, Alex Blue, 2-pin plug. VAG part number 025 906 041 A (about £8, plus O-ring N 903 168 02)

Karl, yes you most definitely can convert a dizzy engine to Coilpack as i've literally just had this done to mine as i've taken all the major running gear from my 92 dizzy engined VR & put it into a new 94 VR coilpack shell which is very similar to your plan. Pretty sure it was just the end plate (that the dizzy mounts onto) plus an engine sensor & obviously a coilpack itself (in my case) that were changed. HTH, regards, Alex

Hi Charlie, yes i'm still floating around in cyberspace mate :) ...been a bit busy with the 4Mo this year so hav'nt been on here that much but am turning my attention back to my Rado later this year! :) Its great to hear your build's coming together for you and think its good that the kits back together again (with some nice new shiny additions by the sounds of things)...look forward to seeing / reading the full write-up! Feel your pain re: the running in as i'm running in new Woosner 8.5:1 pistons in the 4Mo.....frustrating is'nt it! :censored: Will be well worth it in the end though matey!

my early 92 VR had a 70A Bosch as std as well so will be fine as Pianowire says
