Hello and welcome to CF! How has your first week of ownership been? Still grinning?!! Wow, what a question that is! Difficult to answer as it's all down to taste but you could look through the Members Gallery section and see what other people have gone for. Various BBS wheels seem to be pretty popular and in my eyes, add a nice OEM+ look. I really like Speedlines and also Solitudes which came on Storms but my favourites are 17" BBS RX which I have on mine. I like the look of them - I don't think they are fussy or over the top, plus there aren't fiddly bits to clean! I'm sure you'll get plenty of replies with other opinions too. trial fitted the VDO gauges 8) Also clayed the car and started to clean the interior. Got lots I want to do tomorrow before the AGM on Sunday but unfortunately one of my neighbours is having some building work done, so just leave the car for 2 mins and it's covered in red dust again :(

took delivery of a few goodies - new VR6 rear badge, new number plate light unit and cover and new VDO gauges :D Now have quite a selection of bits waiting to be fitted! Just need to find some time... Also removed the battery and put it on charge, but have a horrible feeling I've killed it :(

hi Rams. I have a spare slam panel. Not sure about condition as it's in my lock up but can have a look and take photos tomorrow lunchtime if you're interested. Don't think it's bad and iirc it came from a VR which had been through the scrappage scheme and was actually quite tidy :( If you decide to buy it, then you'd be welcome to collect or arrange a courier, or I could take it to the CCGB AGM on 1st April if you're planning on going to that.

I wonder how many cars on here have names? I always name my cars... my C is called Bosun and my J is Sirius. Bose has double the mileage that Rudi has, but at least I've had the pleasure of driving him for 60k of them :) Good to hear that you're winning with sorting out any niggles.
