    I bought a load of gubbins of bigpantsbaby (Carl) on here. He's usally breaking a golf VR or 3 that he can snaffle it from. Was just shy of 200 pounds iirc. Haven't actually got round to fitting it yet tho as you need to splice the 2 looms together and I have the electrical skill of a gerbil.

    They are what transfers the energy from the pedal down the brake lines and then activates the brakes. So you push the pedal, which moves the master cylinder, which in turn pumps brake fluid towards the brakes. This movement is picked up by the slave cylinder which then moves the brakes. So it sounds like one could be bust and not transferring the full motion of the pedal to the brakes. Make sense?

    Its actually more frustrating having an xbox with Forza and not having live! I'm pretty gutted I can't get online yet. :(

    I love the front, hate the back. Wheels are too big. But still sexy as hell.

    Get it fitted dude. I have an Alpine 50w headunit and have recently fitted a 50w Alpine amp to power the front speakers. I didn't think it would make much of a difference but it really has, the mids are a lot deeper and the speakers can be turned up higher without distorting.

    Saw the story, but can't see him retiring outright... a sabbatical maybe. Will have to keep an eye on his WRC progress though. Nah, he's completely lost his love for F1, he hardly tried at all last season. I think he'll throw himself into WRC for the next 10 years.

    Yeah, you have a metallic colour so it will be pretty hard. I have a repsrayed door that I fitted after my last one got ate by rust and it is slightly darker. I think it depends a lot on what primer you have used as to the overall darkness of the paint. I'd be interested to know what sort of quotes you get tho Ben, as I need basically exactly the same doing!

    Not seen anything chap - how long ago did you send it? I ordered it on the 5th but haven't heard anything since, I'll chase it up. edit - they are having trouble with their small internet orders, but the guy is looking into it for me and i should know more by tomorrow.

    Take off the driving line if you still have it on (but leave the braking line on for now). It gets too distracting as you try to stick to it exactly. Instead, try to make your own lines by looking at the map and seeing what corner is coming up. For adjusting yourself on a straight, small little taps of the controller is much better than one big correction as you will keep your speed and be less likely to overdo it and spin out. Just try to be as smooth as possible, like you would on a real track.

    i don't think there is any drift racing... i did that on time trial mode... There are no drift races as such. If you press left d-pad while racing it will bring up your drift score for the race.

    I was a bit disappointed with last nights episode, their road trip was quite boring as there was none of the usual tomfoolery. The BMW & Merc review was funny though, and that mountain pass, Caucescu's folly, looked like a great drive. A very long way to go for just one road however.

    No, this is actually a bit rare, some rados were fettled by Oettinger. I believe it was head work and suspenders mainly. Mike, that bloke is a cheeky beggar!

    You can get 288s under 15s. But I suspect you have 4 stud yes? Could you not do a 5 stud conversion to keep the 15s and the law happy but get the 288s from a VR golf under there? Lotus Carlton all the way, if you can find one for sale.

    Xbox if you want a comfy controller and want to drive a Corrado. PS3 if you want claw hands, free online gaming and be able to watch Blu-ray for nothing extra. Xbox is significantly cheaper tho.
