VR6 Breaking - Some stuff still going cheap
VR6matty replied to VAG-hag's topic in Cars for Breaking
Hi Does the "Inner boot lid panel £7.00 " come with all the clips to hold it on to the boot lid? I take it this is the part that covers the Spoiler / Wiper motors? If so i will take it Also after the "Grill with one tab broken £15.00" if it isn't already taken Cheers Matt -
Yep both should be one touch open,

Excellent work mate, always thought yours was pretty clean paintwise anyway, but only ever seen it from mine while driving by :) Thats mainly the reason mine is moving quickly (to hide the bad bits) where abouts is the place you are using?
-
like the iobd2 that looks more like it, I suppose that an obd2 converted c would be suitable though?

http://www.engadget.com/2013/03/15/automatic-link-hands-on-test-drive/ Not too bothered by the mpg and driver scoring bits etc but could be a nice way to get on the go diagnostics, if it works with the C, would also hope that there would be some hacks or apps to provide more access & live readouts of other ECU data in future. Thought would share anyway,

If your desk phone/reception console has a number display and pbx was made in the last 20 years then there shouldn't be any major reasons why you cannot get the CLI information, 9 times out of 10 its just not been requested from your ISDN or line provider. You should ask your engineer if they are able to open a trace on an incoming call on the pbx to see if the network is sending your switch the calling numbers and take it from there . Otherwise you could ask your provider for network call data records or get the receptionist to tell all callers that you have left :)

It's not a free service but could at least give you some peace and quiet http://help.talktalk.co.uk/app/answers/detail/a_id/1564/related/1/session/L2F2LzEvdGltZS8xMzU3NDY3MzgwL3NpZC9ISTgtZkNmbA%3D%3D

Is the line with BT? If so they offer a service called "choose to refuse" where you can enter up to 10 numbers to block. Looks like a free and online self service feature with changes taking approx 24hrs. Otherwise just unplug the phone from the wall for a bit.

Corrado Carbon Fibre Bonnets - Group Buy - LWS Design
VR6matty replied to Andrew_LWSDesign's topic in Parts for Sale
Hi Andrew, Can you just clarify for me that the £400 bonnet is the "standard carbon (carbon fibre outer/fibreglass inner frame) (6kg)" Model listed at £495 from your site? And that basically the outer bonnet itself is CF and the understructure is fibreglass? Thanks Matt -

Breaking Rado aqua blue VR6 price for postage added and updated
VR6matty replied to lilfuzzer's topic in Cars for Breaking
Hi Mate, Does the "Inner boot lid panel £7" come with all the fixings? Also what condition is the "Windscreen rubber seal £13 posted"? And finally are any of the Window seals available or did they go with the doors? Thanks Matt -
Little bit of an update, After having another wastegate fail i took the car in to get this swapped and in doing so finally got round to having my short shifter fitted along with a Forge boost controller and vibratechnics gearbox mount. Car drives so much better for it. Also since the new engine had done a few more miles it got to have another run on the rollers, after a bit of tweaking on the map and adjustment of the boost controller (turn it up) Vince was able to achieve 387bhp and 366lb/ft at 15Psi little video of the noise below. Really enjoying being able to fully use the car everyday again at least until something else breaks :)

Just want to echo the sentiments around the service and work being done by stealth, it's the only place I have ever taken my vr and ever will do. Good people to know and very friendly guys, been going to them for about 6yrs now and that 750 for the clutch chains and tensioners has not changed in this time slap on another 750 and you get a full head refurb also. They also make quite a nice turbo :)

Good to know its yours, I often have a look out for it to liven up my mundane commute from West Byfleet to Kingston each day,

Hey Mate, Long time no spot :) Normally see yours on the Oatlands drive way home (i have been using the A3 lately) Is yours the one I sometimes see parked down the road next to the Carpetright? Cheers Matt
