    CV Joints?

That sounds spot on. :) One more question, do passenger side CV joints have ABS rings too? Motor factors are all saying they have them without rings. :confused4:

    CV Joints?

Areet there guys, basically got a nice clicking joint on my passenger side. Along with a big hum when the car gets up to speed. I've already got front wheel bearings to go on then found the CV was clicking too. Looking at replacing it and VW is over 100 quid just for it and i'm not really sure i can afford that at the moment. Does anyone have any experience with the GSF or ECP joints? Or any advice at all for what i should do? Cheers.
  3. Cheers buddy! I'm sure you'll get it sorted soon. :D Thanks. :luvlove: Had the shot in mind so was so happy when it came out.

    et 38 on a G60

I wouldn't be sure. I had ET40 17x7.5's and they fouled the coilovers with a 205/40 tyre on them. Yours may well just work being that little less on the ET and 0.5 inch thinner. :) Plus depends how low you're going too!
  5. Got 280mm front brakes and braided hoses all round to go on too. :D My fave of the shoot that i took:
  6. I always use VW top dollar triple spark plugs in all my cars. Are perfect. :camp: Can't help with the coolant bit though.
  7. Thanks Marc. :) By RM's you mean BBS? You'll have a rather difficult job finding a set of 16 inch BBS RM's. I've only ever seen one set! But yeah they're great and aren't a huge ball ache to keep clean which is a bonus!
  8. Well they're 8's all round, none of the girly 6 or 7 inch rubbish. Then the adapters are massive. 35mm rears and 30mm fronts so offsets are at ET17 rear and ET22 front. :)
  9. Cheers bud. 8) Nearly 100% happy with it, got bigger front brakes and gonna lower the front a little bit more then i'm done on the outside. Just want a nice interior for it now. :(
  10. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jelliott19 ... 089933812/ Link to a mates Flickr with some new pics from last night. 8) Any feedback appreciated. :camp:
  11. No, they wont fit unless you fully wide arch it.
  12. The bastards! :censored:

    stance???

Ronal Turbo's offset wise are around 30-35. So nothing special. If you want to improve the stance look at getting spacers and lower profile tyres (probably stretched) to get them to stick out further without catching. Save doing a load of arch work you'll have trouble in most cases. I rolled my rear arches myself and managed to fit a 15x7 wheel in it at ET5 with a 185/45 tyre. Was pretty wide to say it was only a 7! Best picture i can find, ET10 at the front and ET5 at the back. 15x7 all round and 185/45 tyres. :)

    porsche d90s

If thats on an 8 then that certainly isn't a stretch. 1 size down from what Porsche used themselves. Blowout could be for many reasons, most of them outside your control. I run 195/40's on my D90's that are 8 inch all around and i've never seen a problem similar on anyone who's done the same. If you get 225/40's it'll look a bit ridiculous on a Corrado IMO. Just stay with the same size as before if you were happy with it, blowouts are one of those unlucky things that happen, just check your tyres pressures and for nails etc and you might stop one happening if you catch it. :)
  15. Whatever its called. Just to make them thinner.
  16. Pics going to be on here before the end of the 25th i'd hope? :D
  17. Learn by doing is what i do.
  18. Matey, even if you buy them and they stick out a bit too much you can get them professionally milled down by an engineering firm for not very much. :) So maybe just worth biting the bullet and going for it!
  19. My Corrado cost me well under a grand and has been perfect, late spec, 2.0 16v and not had one proper fault really. They can be found mate its just the luck of the draw. :)
  20. Well yeah i guess i feel pretty exclusive in Halifax and Lancaster. 8)
