Nice brakes, reckon 16's would fit over them?
-
Jolfa on clubgti forum can do this as well. I quite like it but too much can look a bit OTT. There was someone on here that had the dash done and it looked really good when installed with the other standard bits.
-
Thinks its 2 yrs then you loose it.
-
Very nice, nae mirrors though!!!!
-
Ive got a stadard undrilled VR airbox.
-
I dont like looking at that....
-
Just recently, they were like yours but took them out last night and they were all black.
-
I think you think about things to much. They are just slots!! Better things to worry about.
-
Nowt wrong with the Arrows. What been done to get 230bhp?
-
Im pretty sure all that means is if the cars written off then you get £4k in cash for the car.
-
Thats why I love engineering!! Making the seeming impossible, possible.
-
Thats not bad. I get roughly 19mpg out of mine. It is definitely running rich though as the plugs do soot up.
-
Is it not that if the repair costs are more than 50% of the value of the car they will try and write it off so you'll need to get some better quotes. I hate to say it but I think you will be lucky to get out of this without the car being classed as a CAT D. With my experience of Ins companies they are all about figures, it doesnt matter how rare or good the car is.

Most likely. It is expensive stuff. We make dowhole tools from Inconel 925 / 725. You can guess that there not cheap when the tools are near 9in OD and 10ft long. Pocket change to the like of BP etc though. 17:1!! What sort of mileage do you get from a full tank of petrol out of interest?

I was looking at the 16v ducts but in the end just bought some of the flexible hose the same diameter as the CC hole. Its fed down into the grill below towing eye cover and exits just below my filter. The air is not getting directly fed to filter as you could do with the BMC but Im not sure that is ideal, the filter would get dirty very quickly I suspect. As for the cult society ones they were nice but in the end I sold them as I was looking to get more air to the intercooler but they point the wrong way. My grill and cut out plate seem to do a good enugh job. They would be good to allow cold air into the engine bay mind you.
-
Looks like there already sold, sorry.
-
The amber ones do look ok on certain colours but I agree with Satin they dont suit it. I much prefer mine with standard rears.
-
James did something similar with the manifold thats on my car. Seems to work ok and as far as I can tell its not had any problems. Its is a heavy lump though that hanging of it. Might take it off over the winter and double check it. I woudlnt like to run the standard inlet on the 24v. I could see mine pulsing as standard, I reckon a bit of boost would quicken the fatiguing.

Tried the wheels and it looks like 15mm spacers are needed so there getting sold on as thats too much for me. The wheels still would have sat quite far into the arch as well. Shame as there nice subtle wheels in very good condition.
-
£1k for them? Ive had a lot of bike exhausts and Im not sure how they came up with price. Even Akrapovic dont charge that much for a twin silencers. Well done for getting sponsered though.

Winter, in Devon  . Come up here and see if you still want to use the car all year round  . -
VR steering from the rear!! Abandoned on side of road.
coullstar replied to ww-promo's topic in Drivetrain
Are you not in the AA or RAC? Should be something relatively simple to fix. Is the wheel sitting at more of an angle then usual? Was the other wheel still in the same position? Have the rear wheel bearings been looked at recently? -
Ok the MO's went tonight and I took these in exchange + cash. Very nice 7x16in, BBS RX and new powdercoating in sparkle silver. Will need spacers to clear Wilwood calipers though. Might get some sticky rubber or saying that I'll probably end up selling them if made the right offer  .

The Judge's G60, total rebuild...finished (almost) NEW PICS

Wheels are nice, bloody white. Id go a bright silver if it were me. -
Fitted a stainless exhaust to the Mk2. Bought a cheap DTM system that nobody wanted, and chopped the upswept end section off. Its not on in the right position but I'll get it fixed at some point. Slightly louder than I wanted but car does seem to pull slightly better above 4k. Was searching clubgti for some of my old posts and found this thread from 2003, I did say TH2 were my favourite wheel  http://www.clubgti.com/forum/showthread ... ompomotive Ive also managed to source a PAS rack, line, pump etc for £20 :) . The non PAS is just too slow. Im also going for some -30mm H&R springs as its too low for me at the moment. Spent tonight coating the underside of the Corrado with rust prevention paint. Gritters have been out up here so it wont be out that often now. Cannot wait for the RR in a few weeks to see how its running but Im in two minds on using it for th trackday. If its wet then I'll probably take the Mk2.
