Looks great. I had the same problem with the airbox when I tried it. Didnt think to cut a bit of the bottom though. Were you just going to leave it open like that or try some plastic welding? Whats the PAS bottle from? Also Id try and get the Audi badge off. Its one of my pet hates to have other manuf logo's on the car. I still dont like Porsche centre caps on wheels

Hi, get yourself on www.eastsidevw.co.uk and ask on there. Ive only used Albyn Garage for MOT's but thats because its just round the corner from my flat.
-
Not this year and not my current car as thats locked away from this weather but good enough.

Check the bonnet. When I was younger we did something similar to a mates roof but it scratched the roof, too bad for him we had drawn a massive knob. :(

They do look like split rim version of Zenders or possibly ATS. Not sure of make but they should have a stamp on the back. At that width they will only fit the VR if the offset is quite high OR depending on what the centres are like you could maybe double drill them for 5x100pcd. I bet they were on a Merc.

I can fully understand why your doing this. Sometimes you need a break to appreciate things. If its the series 1 S3 I think you will get bored, Ive had quite a fettled one before and it was quickest point to point car Ive had but all a bit too clinical. I'd try and keep it but get yourself a new project to work on.

900 mile round trip to scotland in a vr6 corrado..snow!!
coullstar replied to marmite monster's topic in General Car Chat
Nice one, glad you enjoyed it. -
Im 99% sure the spacers are causing this and it is becasue they are not hubcentric. I know as Ive been there and got the t-shirt. You can get hubcentric 5mm spacers, I have a set (Eibach). Always use hubcentric.

Try a more lubricating oil than WD as WD drys out. Motorbike chain wax or similar.

I think he means the scuttle panel. Ive heard of Mk2 Golf ones being used. Found this of my old 16v.

From my experience of PI springs there not the best, a litte to crashy. Ive got TA Koni's and H&R springs on mine and I find it perfect for all round driving plus you dont have to slow down when the road get a bit bumpy. Ive never been a fan of coilovers though, always worries me about the adjuster platforms seizing and cracking. Heres mine on the Koni / H&R

Its only been localised snow so you should be ok. Its on the Killin end so I would come of the A90 at Stirling and head up by Doune & Callander. There has been plenty of warning and the roads you will be on are A roads so they should be in decent condition. I really hope you do get up as its a lovely area. Just bring some warm clothes!!!

Nice part of the country although I think you'll need a bit of luck to get up there at the moment. The A9 was shut yesterday I think and to get up to Loch Tay its not too easy. Which end of the loch is it and what way are you heading in? Never used snow chains before but I think they should only ever be used in extreme conditions. I would take a shovel and some carpet strips as a minimum. Easiest way is maybe up to Perth, up the A9 then head in via Kenmore / Aberdeldy but then the road from Kenmore to Killin is probably quite bad at the moment. -17C in Killin last night and we havent seen temps above freezing for about 5-6days now. http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/7da ... =aberfeldy

Watched the whole of them to get away from the chrimbo telly!! :notworthy: Was reading something the other day about the double clutch gearbox in the quattro in 85, twenty years before the DSG came to the fore. -
Engine Conversion. Places to go/costs. Advice?
coullstar replied to Bruceybaby's topic in Suppliers Forum
All I'll say is dont scrimp with an engine conversion. The established names are usually good to go with, ask what sort of gurantee you get as well. Dont be scared to travel to get the job done right. -
I reckon a dark colour for the cage and keep the standard green.

Use the search fuction as there is a Wikipedia guide stating the common Corrado faults. G60 specific would probably be focusing on the G-lader. Could you also please type and structure your text better as its very hard to read otherwise (English lesson over  ).
