That is the age old question. I'm on my third Corrado and I won't go into how many Golfs I've had.

It's all down to the media. We just go from one apocalypse to another. Bird flu, global warming, petrol crises then back on to global warming again, then perhaps another petrol crisis, then economic collapse, then more global warming, then immigrants, then another petrol crisis, blah blah blah whatever sells newspapers at the time. H5N1 just seems to have been forgotten about completely. Unless you read National Geographic that had a article on it not so long ago. It just works all the same way as any other form of advertising. Push it in people's faces all the time and they'll soon buy into it. After all, surely if it's on the news then it must be true....

I really love the A5 and the S5 (maybe it is acquired taste though). And the R8. I'd have an R8 without a second thought if I had the money. I wouldn't even care about the fact that I've never driven one before. :D

Just a little update on the G60. I've had it a little while now and am starting to get to grips with what is going to need doing to it. The valeter at work says he'll easily be able to sort the paint out so no need to get any of it sprayed. The petrol guage is working again now of its own accord. Rados. The spoiler manual overide switch is cocked. I decided to try it and the spoiler went up and wouldn't go back down again! :lol: So I had that in bits and managed to get it working again but I think I'll resist the urge to play with it too much. The windscreen wipers are shocking! Don't know what is up with them, I've put new blades on and they are still sh!te. I think I've found out why everyone insists on Lupo conversions. The rear brakes are shot. The disks are really corroded around the edges of the friction surface. Gonna have to get the wheels off and have a proper look when I get the time. Doesn't look like they've had any maintenance for a long time. But some good news, we've just had a new floor layed in our workshop and they got rid of the railway sleeper so now my rado can get inside! :clap: Still waiting for my crank bolt and washer though.... :(

It definately passes the proper dog test. As far as I'm concerned it's not a proper dog if you can kill it by accidentally standing on it. Everything that falls in to that category needs to be reclassified under EU law as a domesticated toy rat. Just like Cadbury's can't call their "chocolate" chocoloate on the continent because it doesn't have enough actual chocolate in it, domesticated toy rats contain more rat than dog and should be classified as such.
