I've just made me cheese an ham sandwiches to take et work tomorrow. Got to be unsliced bread so I can cut it meself real thick like. Proper ham though. Can't be plastic, you've got to have some self respect when it comes to cheese and ham.... Also extra mature flaky mature white mature cheedaar is the way forward. Hmmmmm.... cheese and ham. After a busy morning hoiking Hyundais nothing sets me up better for an afternoon of hoiking Hyundais than cheese and ham.

Yeah mate, keep an eye on the events section. There's loads going on. My diary is full for the year already. :D Adn meeting up with other rado owners is easy and fun. There's usually a big group of Rados together. Just go up to them and start talking to people! :D

There's a reason why I sell cars for a living and not fix them! :lol: It was just a spray can job. I didn't see the point in getting it done pro when I always planned to get it resprayed. Obviously never happened though.... Hmmmm.... What you are saying makes great sense to me. I know I won't buy that one back. There are much nicer ones out there that I could spend my money on. I'd only be buying it for sentimental reasons which would be bad. It's got to be a black VR with a recent rebuild and low-lowish miles if do get another. I'm just thinking how nice a VR sounds with the windows down on a summers day at full throttle in second.... :luvlove:

I knew it was my car just from seeing the tiny little picture beside the listing. I'd spot those dark fogs anywhere (they're dark cos they're full of cr@p by the way :lol: ) and just got this strange gutting feeling. The thing is I've been in my new job a couple of months now (and radoless for about six) and I could easily afford to run it properly and do some work on it. Like the respray I always had planned.... :D Buuuuuutttttt, all the money I've saved by not running a G60 backwards and forwards to Ipswich every day, and the marked increase in my disposable income recently has got me thinking about what I could afford if I save for a year or so on top of what I have already. I reckon I'll easily catch up with early mk5 GTI prices by this time next year AND own the thing outright. But then it's just not a rado is it? I'm in a really lucky position at the moment I guess. I have a company car that in all is costing me about 100 squids a month, I don't have to worry about insurance or tax or servicing or anything like that. I need to make the most of this opportunity. It is killing me not having a dub though. This is gonna be the hardest show season ever! But I do need to stop whining like a little tw@t and look forward to what I could be getting next year.

That depends mate. How much money and/or spare time and/or patience do you have? :D Only joking. I wish I had been able at the time to go down the road of rebuilding mine when I had it. How bad is the damage?

Is it the Bocanegra you saw? That was at Geneva and it looks brilliant. It was styled by the guy who did the Murcielago. Apparently the bosses are saying the production car will be very similar.... That's the kiss of death by the way. One thing that unfortunately won't be carried over is the interior. That's for sure. It's meant to replace the Ibiza in the range....

I agree, it is. But notice how the front end has been totally toned down just like the Iroc. I think it's a symptom of all manufacturers, until you get to the likes of Pagani of course....

I don't know about that. I just saw the final production model of the Hyundai Genesis Coupe and it's lost all it's rad bonnet scoops and it looks as though there won't be a V8 after all... :( But it still looks incredible if a little plain at first. You have to study it and notice all the finer details to appreciate it which is way different from the loud in your face orange concept. I guess they just have to go with what they think is going to sell to the most people. They wouldn't survive if they didn't.

:lol: You've got me there! But come on, somebody has to stick up for it.... Just for the record i do like the car alot but not as a sports coupe/new scirocco I'd agree with you on that. It's not a coupe at all. And the idea of it being some spiritual successor to the Corrado as I've heard it described in one article is a bit weird frankly. But I still think it will be an awesome car.

Oh, well, rear headrests are important things these days....
