But have you seen a C fitted with Fiat Barcetta (wrong spelling i think) door handles, now that looks far more impressive.

In the main engine bay its not much differnet, the compressor is near the water pump to that out off the way. but the heat exchanger for the air con is infront of the rad. there are a few small pipes running round the engine bay but thats about it!

Are genuine VW part a lot better than aftermarket products?
G60Jet replied to sefton's topic in General Car Chat
VW OEM part are always as good if not better than the original parts as vw update the parts as time goes on. After market parts may be better, may be worse, but you have to know what your buying. -
Where the specs then?? 8)

The Reset procedure ONLY applies to the VR6 Standard chip doing this to the G60 chip could damage it. the G60 chip has no memory like the vr one

There are four available two for the LHD and two for the RHD Are you after the one with the guages in, or the one with holes for VDO gauges. I've seen the later on ebay latly

Carb Cleaner, this may also be caused by a bloked breather pipe. One of the Vr6 pipes has a valve in it , could that be the problem

To get a G60 temp down you change the thermo to a 180 degree one and a low temp fan switch. The low temp fan switich has a green connector The Corrado has a 2 speed electric fan: speed 1 comes on at 93'C and goes off at 82'C (93-82'C) and speed 2 comes on at 104'C and goes off at 90'C (104-90'C). You could try one of the following from the VW transporter: Dual thermo switches (3pin) 251 959 481K 87-76'C/93-82'C or 701 959 481 87-76'C/93-82'C (same part on later transporters) or 701 959 481C 81-70'C/87-76'C (for max cooling)

Personally the 4WD is fantastic, why they used an early C i'll never know Personally i think mods should be heard and not visible. Mirrors and big bumper kits arn't my cup of tea. Lets face it, Whats the point of of moding a cars engine to go and stick a heavy body kit to it to slow it down. Wheels Yes cos they make a car look good. but thats about it. Im a Q car factor man and that the way i'll always be. but the paint job on that C is fantastic, not sure about the fuel filler being so high up the body. Its each to there own in the modded car world. but the c looks so good to start with why mess with perfection.!

the snow really shows up the C's lines well!!
