    Battery light

    WARNING When removing the bushes you might want to disconnect the battery, as a slip with the screw driver when undoing them could prove costly. When i undid mine one of the screws had stuck and i i had to lossen it with mole grips.
  2. Andi was spot on.. its a conversion chart for kph to mph, its not longer there as i only use kph now that im in spain!!!

  5. Anyone know how to remove the front Bumper off a late face lifted G60. Im trying to get at my intercooler for cleaning and to add a home made cooling aid. but can get the bumper off. I've got the chin spoiler off, and the inter wheel arch covers, but cant find any bolt to undo the bumper. any ideas?? :?

    I think from memory the alternator brush wear limit it 6mm with a tolerance of 1mm, they are 12mm long when new i think

Well I've just had the charger rebuilt and i was thinking of cleaning the internals of my intercooler and removing the oil out of it that has no doubt coated the inside caused by the slgiht oil seal failure on my charger Has anyone ever done this? and if so what do you clean it with. I was going to use loads of hot water and soap and try and float the oil out of it by soaking it in a tub. Any Ideas.

  11. I have a hella Rain tronic which is no longer available hence i cant get a new sensor for it :( so im trying to get a complete new unit now, its basically senses water on the screen. you can see it in the pic below in the top center of the screen

    Isn't mobel 1 bad for the charger??? I always use a Fully synthetic i've found an Elf oil thats the same spec as the uk vw quamtum silver, seems a great oil.

  14. no idea how many where made but the later ones has less spec but mine was fully loaded with all the electrics except seats. other Special Corrados include the UK STORM models Vr6 UK campaign model (6 made) VR6's with red lether seats and red dash etc. an Italian Estoril Model 16V i think and the German Jet mdel only G60's
  15. Anyone tell me where to find this as i get a vibration under hard accelerating, wondering if this is the same thing. Its not my engine mounts cos they are fine.
  16. If the light is one there is a problem Get it fixed its not worth the risk imho. ABS should be looked at buy someone that know what they are doing. however you can clean the sensors on the wheels, check the fluid etc.

I only see 14psi on my charger at high revs and low air temps, it all depends how you wind the charger up to speed, bringing the engine speed up slower makes the boost higher. putting your foot to the floor on a g60 chokes it, so pressing the gas more progressivly actuallly makes you faster on the g60 imho

The Corrado G60 Jet Is a German Special Edition It came with a special interior trim and 4 paint codes Mine is Dark Violet Pearl Effect (dark Violet Perleffekt) with Blackseats with Purple stitching and Purple Door cards and Seat backs. The Jet Model Also cam with Estoril 15" Alloys and "Jet" stickers on the Rear quater panels. The other Colours were Blue (limogeblau), Red (Flashrot), and Black (schwarz)
  21. with the cams done it will lower the manifold pressure as the intakes are less restrictive, thats where the boost is going imho.
  22. Get the charger done by a company that can clean it and reapply all the anti friction coatings to it. If you've had a Chip and you can't rev past 6200 it sound like a standard off the shelf chip. get the charger rebuilt to stage 4 get the silance box off and replace with a BBM rsr outlet and you should see some more power. ;) my G60 opens up to the red line before the rev limiter cuts in, apparently if you get the gear change right, flames come out my exhaust. (happens when you get the power back on after the change, the fuel cut off valve doesn't trigger and the unburnt fuel flows straight through the engine while shifting. burning on the hot exhaust.!!! Im running a stage 4 ported charger K&N filter BBM RSR outlet moded intercooler flow path chip 68mm pully standard head and block standard manifold (for now) supersprint exhaust and decat pipe. should be getting close to 200bhp now charge cooler comming soon i hope 8) maybe cams and headwork not sure though as it getting silly money for small gains.
