only problems i've forseen is cleaning the screen after an incorrect activation or something but i've sorted that using a relay with 2 poles on connected to the number 2 and one connected to the Clear button. and since the phone i have wont let you hold down the button forever, it stops after a few seconds and the screen clears!! I've got a working unit, just need to wire it to the Car. Charger should be okay if you us a fuse, i am going to use the glove box light i think if the circuit will take it. but will use the power off the lighter socket as the charger is ment to be powered from if not. I intend to put the phone behind the VDO panel, you need to remove some of the side parts of the dash in the footwell to get at it !!

The following is a translation of the letter sent to German VW Dealerships in forming them of the New Jet Model: - News from Volkswagen ‘Corrado Jet’ The Volkswagen Corrado is now available in a special edition: the Corrado ‘Jet’. The exterior features are: special ‘light metal wheels’ in Design ‘Estoril’ with ‘broad’ tyres of the size 185/55. In the interior there are special seat covers ‘Jet’. The basic colour is black, with contrasts in red, blue and purple. Of the same colour are the door and side panel covers made of artificial leather. The backbench is designed in the same way, as is the backpart which can be put forward 1/3 to 2/3. The sport steering wheel has a diameter of 360 cm. The Corrado Jet has the well known 1.8 l engine with 118 kw (160PS). 5gears are standard, for an extra price you can order the 4-speed automatic. But surly when buyin an Alloy wheel the original idea is to lighten wheels not just for design?
-
Dont use a cone filter, use a K&N panel filter instead. or make a cold air intake using a con filter and relocating the Carbon canister under the airfilter to the wheel arch

Will someone please explain how changin the rim size alters your speed and fuel economy based on you using the same rolling radius and width tyre???? :? i.e fitting a bigger rim and small profiled tyres to make the rolling radius the same as the originals!!

I am 90% sure WD40 dissolves grease or says something to that effect on the tin, it frees stuff up but evaporates and leaves a mild coating or something, so you need to re grease what you use it on. I would use a little 3in1 oil or something. I could be talking rubbish, but dont have an english WD40 tin to hand and my spanish anit that good. Someone check and tell me i wrong please!!
