Not really sure about the Mk5 but the GSD gearbox is a want at some point in my VAG driving life. The new Cupra isnt even out yet but will come with GSD im sure, and comes with a very responsive engine, but no one but the press will get a look in on drives yet. might ride it out, as when the cupra comes out there may be a few more r32's around, plus i can drive one for myself.

yeah but the new leon is about 18k mark so they are saying...so ex demo. would be about the same money as an R32 by then

Hi Guys I've Just accepted a new job offer closer to home, meaning the Leon TDi is no longer a must have...so I'm wondering....... should i buy a clean R32 or wait for a few months and check out the The New Leon Cupra ?? Your thoughts please :twisted:

Find the price for the car with cloth.....add the value of the seats simple, if someone want the car as it is sorted...if not remove the leathers. then you can always put the standard interior on ebay.

Hi Guys, its that time of year again. and Adrian Flux have give me a great quote over £200 less than my renewal, and from the sound of it better terms. having never gone with a broker bofore has anyone had any "issues" with Adrian Flux....or Good experiance too. What are they like in the event of a Claim, or servicing the policy??

Depends what you want standard engine or better pistons etc for further mods. if you are wanting the build a strong engine have a word with Blue Joe. he just rebuilt his G60 with forged pistons etc.

worth noting that 225000km is only about 150,000 miles

yeah wise move...i sold it with around 200k on the clock and it was still sounding mint then...that 25k is only about 15miles. I had always planned to do the oil pump next...just as a precaution. Cam and idler where changed about 6 months before i sold it...and it wasnt smoking...It never let me down engine wise...apart from a clutch(wear & tear) and the radiator. The water pump was changed as it leaked a tiny bit..so as long as the block has been looked after i should be okay....but like you said...at 225k better safe than sorry.

your minds goin over time now.. The chip in the jet is a G-werks job...there are the muts nuts around the g60 engine matey...If i had go it back off you..that would be the first place i would of taken it too.... questions is....why does it need a rebuild?

you´ll have trouble with the ABS mate no RHD parts for the ABS on the G60

just priced up to put those in my Leon....80 quid!!! including fogs thats mental :cry:
