  2. Early C´s you could have a tape holder there or a twin 2 inch VDO gauge panel and late models you could have a tape holder or a twin OEM gauge set
  3. 20W50 surly that miles to thick for the G60 i thought 15W50 was about the limit, could be wrong though, could be worth checking the charger oil return and feed lines, and taking the charger outlet off and checking for oil, could the oil seals of gone?
  4. Mopping or machine polishing your car is okay as long as it no laquaced cos if it is then you have to get it re laqucered after !!

    Full beam

As you pull the lever to put the full beam on the dipped beam should go out, check any car. if it didn't the bulbs would bake the reflectors as they would get really hot. Get an uprated loom for the head lamps 16vg60 on here will sell you one and maybe some other ppl too, they are easy to make, there is a section here somewhere that tells you how to make your own.
  6. I'll stick with my Jet the interior is far more classy no disrespect to the campaign but the campaign is a right mix of old and new. and apart from the seats which are to personal taste the only thing i like is the sprinter logo in the headrests

    Fuel pump noise??

I changed my filter last weekkk and you can't here the pump at all now, and the car is going faster too.
  15. i wish Got it back just, New fuel filter and its flying!!! the old one must of been about blocked. Labour Charge €192 !!! i knew i should of done it myself, And they have left dirty paw prints all over my clean charger!! how do i get that clean??
  16. Well the Car went in the Garage on Tuesday morning, I asked them to strip it ready for the new rad to arriving on wednesday lunch. I got the new Rad, droppped it off, with G12+ and the C was still outside as i left it. Anyway they said no problems it will be ready by thursday, went back that night to get some stuff out of the C to find them just draining the old coolant. (I wast was left of it). Phoned thursday lunch before picking up the guys from the airport. Its not going to be ready until friday. Now given the fact that i asked them to change the fuel filter and put my last two samcos on(oil cooler ones) thats not that much work. I know the whole front has to come of the C to change it, but i think i could of done it myself in less than 4 hours. and ppl i've spoke to said 2 hours max for a garage to do it. I mean am i corrected here or what, Grill off, Headlights out, fogs out, Bumper off, horns off, remove top rad fixings, slam panel and cross member off (5 bolts i think), remove rad from top, (refitting is opposite of removal)!! i knew i should of done it myself!!
  17. Ebay is the only place i could find one in the end.

    Dicky Bird Problem

Open the cells in the battery and check the level of each cell, if one is low or dry the battery is probably naff, once the level of a cell gets to a certain point its shorts and the cell dies. the battery then wont hold a charge. you can try topping up the battery with distilled water, but that normally fails to work.
  19. if its that far away i'd not bother.
  20. michael, I personally would walk away unless it had every MOT cert for the last 3 years or so. Cant believe anyone can have a car with no service history. What year is it cos, its very low milage for even a 92 G60. But if he wants 2k for it, you could get him down to 1.5k and if it goes tits up then you can strip it, and sell the bits on ebay or here. rebuild able charger sell very well at the moment for a start. any doubts walk away thats my thoughts on buying cars. for it to only have 70k on the clock the seats must be still in good nick and the interior should basically only just starting to show signs of wear. Check under the mats in the footwells, and look for worn carpet where someones shoes have worn it down, should be only showing some wear and tear for those miles. Check how long he has has the car, check on the log book dont take his word for it. it should say how many owners its had on the log book, take the address of the previous owner and call directory enquires for a phone number. ask the previous owner about the milage. Then if you a still thinking about it get it HPI checked. As with All corrados check for signs of damage and poor repair. a twisted C is never the same again apparently.
  21. No No No Its a mounting plate for an extra pully for the flying conversion, to power the hydrolics. I think that joke is over already
  22. i would say its one of the cylinder seals gone, basically all the fluid pushed past the seal. can be dangours cos your car could shoot forward.
