Should Add Its a 1 of 500 made convertable -
I've just been offered this 944 for breaking here in spain. Not sure if i want to take on the project. The car caught fire this morning after the driver hit a rock on the road, ripping the fuel line hence the fire. Front end is a gonner but i think the wheels are good and seats etc are good. Im going to see the car soon. What do you think guys? Should i, or shouldn't I. I've got to give the owner a cut!! Any ideas on what the wheels are and what they are worth?

Guy is still waiting for the forged pistons to arrive!!

Right, Got the new clamps, not the ones i wanted but i guess i can change them later. Looked at the engine and pulled the pipes out one by one to id them, and found them all, only one made me think for a second. So need to get some more G11 as i havn't brought enough and im off (G11 is still available here)

Not got the metal pipes yet, they're in the plan so to speak, but the budget needs the most work at the mo!!
-
Fat Tony, Thanks for the offer, im gonna have a stab at it at the weekend if i can get some new pipe clamps locally. I should be able to find them. The ones that im expecting to be hard are the ones around the charger. i'll see how i get on.

You do know the kompressor isn't ment to run all the time, it should go on and off, BTW Air con should be used all year round if its fitted, otherwise its known to muck up. Aircon works well on heat and cold

Wish i'd of got the charger ones to now   :(  they would of looked gr8 with the metal boost pipes!!

Factory A/c was an option on the Corrado in some markets, as i have it on my german g60. Get the Vin chassis number and take it to the dealers and they can tell you what spec the car had when sold i think!!
