The Lupo Screen is at a different angle to the Corrado's so the problem may be not as bad.

The steam was coming from lower down than that, but im gonna check it out as my slam pannel looking like was is drying on it, but i put that down to all the rain we had over the last few weeks.

Went to the Dealers on the way home tonight to get a price on an OEM rad, noticed in the showroom one of those new touareg 4x4 VWs so me and the misses poped in for a look and get some details. Also had a look into the R32, apparently Spain is getting 100 pre order spots and most of them are still available. (got me thinging for about 1 hour). Anyway after chatting to the Dealer myself and the Girlfriend were told that VW is moving away from sporty cars and concentrating on the more Merc market and exec market. He said That SEAT yes SEAT are now the sporty cars of the VAG group. and that Seat are due to produce a Coupe in the next few years, that may be very similar to a Corrado. :roll: As you may know All seats are named after places in spain so the Corrado is unlikly to be its name. but you never now cos the Corrado name is derived from the spainish word Meaning "to run" hence the logos on the headrests of the Campaign Model. Anyway after the VW garage we popped to see the Evo VII and get the price for that. Nice car, like it, Saving!!! :D And the Missus love it too!! :) SORTED

The Strut braces were on the C when i got it, the car is very stiff and you can really throw it around!! And yes that is water on the C, its raining here tonight!! :lol:

When into the Steelers on the way home the Rad for my G60 is €237+Iva thats about £158+vat :( there is little chance of me getting a non OEM one here in spain. I dont really like the Rad weld option myself. Im getting my Samcos soon so im gonna try putting them on just in case the hold is in a hose or join. Its was i saw a bit of steam comming of the rad when i had the bonnet open. Maybe it was water sitting on it rather than leaking out!! we'll see!!

Okay I seem to be using a tiny amount of water daily due to a tiny hole in my Rad (i think, As i saw a tiny amount of steam coming from it) Anyway Im going to be changing my water hoses at the Weekend and wondered if you can put the rad weld in, drain the system after a few days and then change all the hoese and it would still be fixed, or does it "wash out". I've got air con and dont really want to change the Rad unless i can help it, How much are they anyway, anyone know (banana man?) I guess i would have to get a VAG one. :mad:

Drill the holes in the strut brace mount for the bolt to go through rather than just cut them off

The Headcover/rocker cover is the original i just keep it clean. And the Superchargered badge is the small one fitted to late G60s in europe. Not sure if you can Get them from VW still though.
