I no its all going to be worth it when its done its just never looks like its going to be, i've a few new shiny bits and pieces taking over the house as well waiting to go on it :grin:

Im not on my own then, i got my old mot certificate out from 18 month ago the other day and realised that i'd don 297 mile for my £200 road tax and £700 + insurance for the year its completly impractical but i love it and carn't part with it :luvlove:

Just thought i'd fire a few pics of what a corrado shouldn't look like :gag: Its been living in the back of my mates garage for the last three months because hes been busy. But hes now promised me that i shall have her back before the end of the month, Painted MOT and running perfectly :shock: i'll belive it when i see it........best get saving!!

I havent bought tyres yet cos i've just refurbed these, im only down 35 or 40 mm i think so thats what size i'll get cheers :salute:

I've taken the dust covers off but they ystill seem to foul on the thread behind just wondered, if they needed a small spacer :scratch:

Just a quick one .... Has anyone had to use spacers to stop the centercaps catching the hub bolts (if thats the correct terminology) found that when i dropped these wheels on the center caps wont fit just wondering how people got around it !!!!!!!

Thank you kind sir :) weren't to bad to strip, tyres coming off tomorrow, then get them relacquered, polished up and some new tyres, then they will be up for sale, dont use the Rado that much so I'm happy to keep the RC's on all year round were these polished already or have you done them bill??

Think i've decided on just losing the side strips to be fair and having a de badged grill (keeping vr6 badge just loesing the vw one) then leaving the rest standard, i've had all sorts of stupid ideas but i think that wil look subtle enough and not ott. :thumbleft:

Its not a coupe thats why i dont like it its a hatch, If we all liked hatches we'd be driving golfs and probably love the iroc, but were all probably dissapointed because we all like coupes, but if it is supposed to be a new scirroco it should be a coupe.

Im not a fan of that but i wasn't expecting to be new cars are look like they have come off the same production line, might look a bit different in the flesh. looks a bit more of a hatch than a coupe to me think the golf comment above sums it up a bit. Old School for me :D (looks a bit like a Alfa)

All this talk about chains is making me paranoid mines on 120k And i dont think they will have been done the service history isn't full and theres no recipts for chains been done!!! Just replaced loads of bits planning on having this done in maybe 6 months or so when i get the funds to do clutch etc at the same time Hope it lasts :lol: Is there usualy any signes you should look for or do i just wait for a big bang :shock:

Im leaving the grill black, its the door handles and plate surround im still unsure of think the door handles look good colour coded on the darker cars just unsure on the lighter ones
