I think you need to look at the bigger pic boys who do you thinks fastest Kate Beckinsale or Paula Radcliffe -
cheers for comments guys  , i love the wheels but i find my self been a bit :camp: with them, That'll change when i curb them. Just a few problems to iron out then start looking at bits for engine mods.
-
if i take the spaces out they shouldn't catch, i agree but i cant fit the center cap in for it catching on the hub bolt, even without the dust cap fitted. The wheels i had on before would miss the lip and they were the same size just bannged over the bigger bumps but more in to the top of the arch which i can live with.

Its the rears mate but even without the dust caps the centers foul
-
i havent rolled them but5 the lip of the arch at the side looks like its been rolled but not sure if its been done all the way, would it fold all the lip is there anything that would indicate it has been?

TT comps 205 40 17. 30 or 35 mill drop on gmax shocks catching lip of arch due to 5 mm spaces fitted, if i loose the spaces they will probably scrape on inside of arch but miss the lip, then the center caps wont fit. think my old whels had the same size tyres but not the spaces and still scraped but not on the edge of the arch. just had the car painted so i dont want to mark it trying to mod the arches. :help:

i think ive found it theres a clip missing off the air feed pipe between the filter and throttle body, taking air in after air flow meter, haven't had time to prove it yet will mess in morning and see if it solves it

Just got my car back from having a respray  and a re-build of brake suss ect. The cars been there since feb and prior to that in bits on my drive probally covered about 400 miles in 2 years cos of its problems. Prior to all this the performence of the engine was fine had a few little isuess now and again cam sensor etc. Just driving it home its been ticking over fine but its very slugish till it gets up the revs once its up there its not pulling too bad its just at take off, it seems to make all the right grunting but the powers just lacking.(corsa with a big bore style performance :confused4: ) Obviously its been stood and i wouldn't have expected it to go perfectly straight away just wondered if it will need running for a while and fix itself of will it need sticking on a rolling road and a bit of tweaking req. Anybody with any thoughts, advice experiance of this

Cat back needed axle off mate

Looks nice u got one of the best colours. :salute:
-
TCS will make a right mark up on it, sound enough bloke but he knows what hes doing, u just sold to him or picked a vr up off him part x? ive only used him for parts usualy pannels and hes very reasonable. he seems to be able to pick corrados up cheap with all his advertising which is fair play but if your buying off him he told me his spayer works up to the profile/ angle between the window and door handle and leaves the top so its woth looking there to see how good a job they have done
-
I think most after market ones are split to be honest might be worth having a look at a few that u want before putting your axel back up mate.

Depends what your buyin i suppose, i'd say it depends on your budget and what u get. If you have say 5k as a figure you could get a very well looked after low mileage Vr6 and you wouldnt expect much to go wrong but the age of the cars now there never going to run 100% all of the time. Obviousely something that done 200k is going to have more problems. Mines done 120 and ive had it nearly 3 years and the worse problems ive had is drive shaft, cam sensor and changed a few bushes the engine its self has been sound up to now. Saying that i dont do much milage in it cos i have a works van i dont think id have to depend on it to get to work every day, but ive got it as a toy and love it :luvlove:
