I have missed something here just had a quick look throught this thread, (Very nice car indeed :notworthy: ) In that vid you going like f@%* And thats without a charger ...or have i missed that sorry if i have. :nuts:

Right as things stand with the car ive just about changed everything to do with the suspension (Bushes wishbones struts ect). Also change all brakelines/ hoses and refurbished the brakes (swapped rear for mk4's ect). The only thing i havent started to look in to is the Lump. I have a 6 branch manifold to go on but have decided not to go through the hastle of doing this as in the future, (winter/ sh@t weather time) when the funds have replenished im thinking of having the engine out to do chains sprockets, Probably look to do cluch and upgrade cams. Just wondering if there is anything else that i should be looking to do while its out. Im planning on keeping the car a while and dont want anything to bite me at a later date. The engine has done 120 k but runswell and isn't noisy or anything it more for piece of mind and to sneak a few extra bhp out where ever possible without going to ott. Any ideas or help with what i should be looking to get over the next few moths would be appriciated :scratch:

Yeah the guy i was talking to said they trade on there, he seemed quite knolageable aswell, i was suprised when i drove past and saw Audi VW and jap written above door, i think i'll be using them a bit as i dont no of any where else around here really involved with dubs. And he had a cool fat Mk1 golf he was doing up outside.

only parking offence i've herd of before what came with points was when my mate parked on someones fence / garden in the snow and they managed to get his numberplate as he was driving off :nono: :lol:

so going back to the origanal question as a few of you seem to be talking about other rim or ring care :camp: , i've just had some alloys refurbed is there any advice on putting any sort of wax or polish (or ky jelly) on them before i put them on the care to preserve them a bit :shrug:

got these back at the weekend, was servicing a machine at pristine alloy wheels and had them in the back of van, the manager did me a really good price to remove all defects dimond cut them paint in the webs lacquer them and post them back. Didn't expect them to come back this good :clap:
