Red, Corrado VR6, VRN: K** MTS at 1411hrs sat in traffic with everyone else on M11 near Stansted. Looked to be in good, standard nick too, wasn't sure if it was subtly lowered, or if it was Christmas shopping weight on the suspension?

Hi chaps, I don't live in the UK, but on the rare occasions I'm back I keep a 1991 Jaguar XJ6 at my parents for me to drive about in...unfortunately, they don't have anymore room and my Jag is left outside for months at a time and its now taking its toll on the car. I had to jump-start it this Christmas, which is a shame as the car is in such good nick and has a lot of history. If anyone has somewhere where I can store my Jag I'd be really grateful, I wouldn't need them to look after it or maintain it, just simply somewhere I can keep it under cover from the elements that would be awesome. Bit of a long shot I know, but thanks for taking the time to read this. Cheers.

I've just got the Microsoft Steering Wheels and pedals and I'm playing Forza with it...it really does open up a whole other dimension to the game. Its brilliant, however you do kinda have to learn the game all over again. The only negative thing I've found so far is that if you damage your steering/tracking during a race...with force feedback steering wheel...your proper fucked and there is no way you can remain competitive for that lap and therefore possibily the rest of the race.

Anyone got his username? I got dibs on his oil cap for my VR6.

I know its a long way off, but I'm unable to make the following race: 26th January --- Mazda Laguna Seca, Full (28 laps) As I'm off doing some secret squirell training stuff. I'm happy for someone to take my place for this race as my sub as long as I can keep their points.

What did you change dude? I might add one of those spoilers, they look awful, but appear to make quite a difference.

Sorry chaps, I've tried uploading the two 'movies' (slow motion replays of the two collisions I was involved in) and its crapped out on me AGAIN. Just says that video was NOT uploaded to Forzamotorsport.net after a long, long pause.

Sorry about the lag chaps, it was by no means intentional. I didn't notice much lag myself, only on the replay do I see 1 or 2 cars move upwards and downwards by about 2ft into the tarmac and that was only on about 2 occasions in a 30 lap race. I didn't notice any 'twitching' from side to side. The coming together with swiftkid; we both take the racing line, have contact with the side of our cars together (no particular car in front of the other), then it appears that swiftkids car gets ahead of me and then steers into my front wing. Its only a game and it was a lot of fun, so I don't care. I'm having trouble uploading either of the replay videos I saved onto forzamotorsport.net and then onto youtube.com. I'm really sorry if my lag affects the way others play, I hope I can still participate in the league. I normally drive on 'bumper cam', as if I drive in 'far chase' I tend to over correct my steering all the time...however, if I need to swap to 'far chase' in order to become more aware of my surroundings whilst racing online then so be it.

I will save my comments for this evening...I've seen the replay from start to finish, I was taken out twice! How the hell I managed to hold onto 3rd and then grab 2nd I'll never know?! As for the Datson race, what a classic. I got taken out ghetto-style by vKRISv. I do think this race needs to be repeated, but that we should upgrade our cars to maybe 350PI, C Class?

I've seen them on American sites for $90 plus postage... There are two more in my local shop (checked today) for 30 Euros each as I recall. Might be worth be buying them and flogging them on eBay as "scene" rare etc.

Chaps, I'm after a bit of advice... I've got a Corrado VR6 in the game, but round corners I'm spinning the outside wheel round tight corners (it goes green to red on the tyre temp display thing). So, would I need to tighten the front anti-roll bar in order to counter this? Maybe drop the suspension height? I'm not exactly the most competitive whilst racing online, so any help would be awesome!

Was given this as a gift on Friday night. Well chuffed as its the same colour and has the same wheels as my car. My mate is going to paint the silver badge and the rubbing strip black so it'll be pretty much exactly the same as my car. The detail is great, I've taken it out of the box now and have it on a shelf (sad I know!) in my living room. It details the underside of the car, under the bonnet, has tiny calipers on the brakes, the spoiler goes up and down. Got a few of them on offer near me for 30 Euros I'm told, can't seem to find anywhere on t'internet that has them in stock. Excuse the lame camera-phone photos...

Just a thought, but can we increase the time that sets when the race finishes. Normally its set to 30secs after 1st place crosses the line, if we're doing loads of laps for 30mins, that might have to go up to 3-5mins.

So are we playing tonight? I'll be online later... Are the rile that we have to use Corrado's (fo shiz) and that full simulation damage and collision mode is on?

Option 1: (G60 / VR6 engine) Take it to a good garage, either a main dealer or VW/Corrado specialist and hand over vast sums of money. This will give you good practice for later on if you intend to keep the car for long duration. Option 2: (8v / 16v engine) Take it to any old back-street garage or or local scrap yard and aquire random old Golf parts and pay only in cash so the garage doesn't have to declare it on their books.

Glad to see that TG is back up to its usual (good) standard. The Lancia bit was great, we've got quite a few over here, normally driven by old non-Turkish immigrant couples (the Turks tend to prefer something from the early 90's like an old Bimmer). They are funny looking supermini things. Did annoy me a bit when the interesting James May segment turned into a staged affair with Police helicopters... :camp:

Ah...I was told it was :confused4: Think they're a bit of play in them too. I ordered the parts today - 70 bastard Euros - and they go on the car tomorrow. Hopefully...that'll be it and then I can get back to driving the bloody thing!

I ended up changing... All 3 water sensors, the thermostadt, the fan switch and fan motor and fan itself and the coolant. About 400 Euros worth (not including labour)...now the temp runs fine :D

Woop! Woop! Nice one dude. Also thanks to mimjed for the German lingo. Are you Fritz? As for whats wrong with it, there is a split in the rubber bit/'boot' on the drivers side, so I figure get both done at the same time.

Hi guys, I've finally put my car back together. Not bought any fuel for it since June and not driven it since September... I've got my annual roadworthiness on Wednesday and after finishing putting the car back together at 2345hrs we noticed this... Pretty sure its a fail (the screwdriver is there as an pointer) I'm pretty sure its called a anti roll bar stabiliser link ( :confused4: ) but I need a part number before I go into Volkswagen and order it. I live in Germany and my German isn't the best and its far easier to go in with a part number. If anyone can help I'd be really grateful. Cheers.

Hi chaps, Just put a new gearbox, clutch, clutch slave cyclinder, fan motor, all water sensors, thermostat, fan switch etc etc etc in... Can someone give me a simple, straightforward answer on what water temps should the stage 1, 2 and 3 fans should kick in? :confused4: Thanks.
