just a quickee we all get told to regular check the petrol pipes due to rubber cracks on old car but id though id mention this one  the little pipe at the end of the fuel rail cracked and started leaking on mine and boy did i miss it to the fact i kept smelling petrol for a while but even time i checked the petrol pipes on the inner wing all ok and the ones to the pressure reg and return all ok look like this pipe at the other end (battery side) feeds a pressure sensor thats all it does started leaking on me to fact i only spotted it after the exhuast got hot and was vapourizesing the petrol dropping on to it and causing vapour :censored: never seen a guy turn off the igniton so quickly stealers wanted £10.80 and 3 day delivery local car supply place charged 50p and i fixed it in 2 mins just one to watch out for guys :salute: stu......

god yes 5 w 30w reffers to the temps 30w being quite low have a word with oilman on here i used to use 10w 40w on my G60 which mean the oil was good for 130 deg C but he said i should go for 10w 50 w just to give the little extra protection also fitted an oil cooler aswell to be on the safe side cheers stu ..

Putting Brembo's on front of a G60 but what about the rear?
sparks replied to Jay2's topic in Drivetrain
The only thing id add to this is change you brake fluid to say a DOT 4 or 5 (5 better but alot more expensive) and fit braded hoses on the whole car (costs around £150 depending on where you shop (6 hose set usaully)) which will improve the pedal feel after that its a service ex brake servo but really not needed if your is in prefect working order oooo and the classic one is dont TRY your brakes out in front of a wall or car , maxium stopping power is only achived after say 100 miles bedding in :nono: much to the disguse of my freind who plowed his car though a wall after fitting new discs and pads :brickwall: stu .. -
sure you anit got a v8 shoe horned in there but yes with all that it should be quieter

£93 for a new lhd one that rasies at 80mph plus a 2 - 3 week wait for the stealership grrr ok could some one take a few pics of theres im after the later type with the surface mount stuff on the back ive got the link in place of the resistor and its still rasies at 55mph so it look like a capacitor change as well or something open to ideas guys ???
-
ok im having problems here i followed all the links to find out mine is the later spolier module (surface mount all on the back ) so i followed orcgih link (cus hes is the same mod) ive try 10k ohms and even dead short link but still the spoiler rasies at 45-55 mph any ideas guys ?? cheers stu ...
-
that will be a 150kohm resistor and dig the solidering iron out then cheers stu ....
-
hi peps ok i know it raises at 45mph but its not needed till 80 mph but they did first come set at 80 mph till the plod got involded !!!!!! so how do i reset mine back to 80 any ideas ?? cheers stu..

the measurement of boost is all down to how much back pressure you engine doesnt flow hence the pressure build up if youve got a ready good flowing head and exhuast then the engine will flow all availabe boost hence no back pressure the best way to get rid of any suspicions is to rolling road it and then compare on here to what bhp other simliar spec engines do!!!! point on R.R alway make sure oil and water are topped up and alway get the wheel figure not the flywheel figure

it looks like you have a different cam on because of the verner pulley im guessing they have moved the power band up the rev range has its slow to get away then the power comes on later

well just really wondering on where it would go (the jets that is) after charger or after the air temp sensor? and how would the fuel map on a sns chip make of it ?
-
i know its been mentioned a few times on the forum cus ive done a search :norty: but has anyone fitted it to a G60 and got good results  just wondering thats all :confused4:

well hey goes my transaltion of it charger will charge 0.7 at 6000 yards? (the charger is making 0.7 bar at 6000 rpm) I look in the hose between the g-Laden and ic (yep) Find the right layer of oil there. (i find a small amount of oil there) but in the sound attenuator so it was very so-chips (but in the sliencer on the back there is a few drips of oil ) do something? ( do i need to do something) I renovated one in summer 2008 (it was overhauled in summer 2008) would be happy if I was told if it did anything (gratefull of any information on the oil drips)
