  1. Im bidding on them! For that price it would be rude not too!!! If you decide you want them, then you can have them for the same price (if I win them), if not then I'll do something with them
  2. How could you show me them after i have just spent a fair whack on these wheels
  3. Rob you have one of my favourite cars mate, however Im not really digging those wheels. I reckon youre right about bright wheels for your car, but I think you need some OE looking 5 spokes to set it off 8) Still a stunning C though :thumbleft:
  4. Sell the engine, buy mine and strap a turbo to it :-D
  5. Come up on the weekend if you like mate
  6. Like mine  (anything for a pic  )
  7. Just OE I would say. The V6 4mo has it on the drivers side to, but mine is still on the passenger side. Maybe its down to the hoses, and how much room are on each side??? I dont think there are any benefits at all though really.
  8. Because thats where they are on the Golf.
  9. In fact here you go: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=38343&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=my+corrado&start=15
  10. Do a search for jeffcabbage
  11. The 24v ecu needs to be used. You can keep standard clocks, but you have to strip the 4mo clocks for the immobiliser. The front engine mount on the Corrado needs moving sideways, not sure about the Golf. The 24v fusebox does need to be used, well it was on mine anyway. The Speedo works fine on the C as the revs and speed are all pretty much the same, dont forget the engine is just a newer VR. Accelerator pedal from the 4mo needs fitting as its DBW. Not sure about fitting the 4mo box, but I would assume it wouldnt be too bad as youve already got a Haldex box. Not sure about the rest, try PM'ing Coxylaad, dutchvr6, bigpantsbaby
  12. Really.... Geez it must be pants! Who on here has already done an R32 conversion? I would like to pick thier brains a bit...... Nobody as far as Im aware, but I think there is one in the pipeline. The 2.8 is the same though mate, just not as big/powerful.
  13. I already use my existing clocks and keys mate. Also, the C is fitted with traction control as standard (no really) its just that its pants
  14. The Cupra is 180 BHP, but with a stage 1 remap can be up to 210. The K04 is the way to go apparently, and then a stage 2 remap instead. Im not sure about the injectors, but its worth looking around the SEAT, Golf and Audi forums for more info, as there is plenty going on. Also, you can pick them up on ebay, take a look
  15. Some electrolube and wire wool will do it
  16. Had the same issue after my conversion. It turned out to be the clocks, as they'd lost some insulation on the cables and it was interference. Put your phone on the dash, in front of the clocks, and ring it. See what it does then
  17. Not sure what gauge wire to use, but I would hazard a guess of around 20. Just pop down to your local motor factors mate, they'll have what you need.
  18. Out of interest how do you know the tappets are knackered? I had bad tappet sounds on my old engine and it turned out the oil pick up was blocked. Its probably worth checking the oil pressure before you spend the time and money mate.
  19. I thought you could use a VR box with a 1.8T? If so then surely that'd be a good option????
  20. Looks nie, but its still not a "Coupe" really is it? :(
  21. In a nutshell Ben, yes. Just fancy something a bit more modern, and maybe forced induction to play with. I love the C, but not as a daily drive any more, and I cant afford to keep it as a second car :(
  22. Fairy mate, working on Typhoon at BAES Warton.
