Aha, cool

Are those Maybach rims, like a certain Mr Renshaw has on his Mk4??? Look good mate, congrats
-
I always thought that its not worth remapping a VR due to the small amount of power increase for the price, unless youre gonna add other bits with it???
-
I have some 2.9 pistons, one will need replacing though, also con rods and crank. I even have a 2.9 block which needs reboring ;)

Bigpants, how do the clocks look when the dash is back together mate? Did you have to do any cutting?
-
You dont need to use mk4 clocks, or strictly modify the loom throughout. you can mod the loom into the back of the existing clocks to overcome the immobiliser, and keep the standard clocks, unless you want to change them of course. I have standard in mine. The only thing is some of the MFA functions dont work ie oil temp, mpg. Most of the coolant pipes all fit from the 12v engine. The manifold is better off being the 24v version for the above reasons. The air filter is fine on the wrongside, and it gives you a nice big space on the other side, wonder what would fit in there???

I dont hink so mate, the ones from the group buy are differnet from each other, in fact Im not 100% that theyre from a lupo, I'm sure one of them is Golf fitment. Think I'll email the company and then post the details up.

Cheers Dominic  Anyone know what theyre actually saying? Also, we need a separate post containing all the C video's I reckon, like the CC of Canada have 8)

You could always try to find some friends on here who want some  Start a GB feeler
-
Which part of the centre console? The cubby whole, or the switches???
-
Anyone know the numbers for the aero blades from the Group Buy? I think theyre both the same length, but the slot is a bit further up on one of them.
-
This place is good for sorting problems  Be sure to read the "definitive 24v into a VR" thread in the engine section mate. Some of the main issues are: Front engine mount needs to be moved New exhaust downpipe needs fabricating Electrics Clocks - you need the immobiliser from the clocks Pedals need mounting - DBW Pretty much everything else fits though.

As far as Im aware, it should bolt straight on with no problems. Keep us posted on this one 8)

Or a 2.8 4MOTION engine, like me :D
-
I had the same problem with my rear tyres. Got the bearings changed, but the noise was still there. The car then failed the MOT due to the rears tyre being mishaped, due to the rear axle bushes being worn. Had the bushes and rear tyres changed and its so quiet I cant believe it!! Jack the car up and spin the rear wheels, see if you can notice a mishape.
