How much you paying Dinks?
-
Not sure where to post this, but Im sure someone will move it for me  Does anyone know how much the pipe between the throttle body and MAF costs new? I have someone interested in the one off my VR, from a different forum but I dont know what its worth, it looks like new. Cheers

Brentacre mate, youve seen how much Im paying for insurance ;)
-
The MFA works on other settings though, can it not work from the 24v ECU? Or, should I put the 24v clocks in instead?
-
Maybe less??? Give him a ring tomorrow, obviously you need to get it there though.
-
PSI quoted me around £2k for the whole engine to be rebuilt mate, 12v that is.
-
Does the MFA work on all settings? Is there a built in oil temp gauge on it?
-
I paid £1100 for my engine and ancillaries, and it cost less than £3k for the whole hog, including fitting ;) It also burbles like the 12v, just moves a hell of a lot quicker whilst its doing it

The MFA doesnt work for MPG or Oil Temp. There were chattery relays/fuses under the dash, which we also think is the cause of the ABS not working. The MAF is nacked and causing it to overfuel and fail the emissions for the MOT. The rev counter is fluctuating. The front mount has rocked, we think. Its all stuff that is fixable, just he needs time to get it in and looked at. Did you have "any" problems with the electrics Jay?

2.8 24v from a 4motion mate. The main ball ache (not for me, I just paid for it  ) was the wiring. A new front mount was fabricated, and a new exhaust downpipe fabricated with the lambdas (2 out of 4) installed too. There are still a few leccy gremlins getting fixed as we speak, hoping to get it back soon so I can play again :D However, the VR already has mounts, gearbox etc that work with the 24v. Youd be better off getting a 1.8T for a G60, check out the threads in the engine section.

Reckon you'll be changing the sig soon!!!

Check out the age on the left, old dear

It will flicker as the battery is being drained all the time, makes no odds if its new or ten years old, its still losing charge. The alt is there to provide the charge back to the battery.
-
When is it? Im sure I cant make it for some reason. he is trying to get it on his mates Porsche rolling road for me anyway. Its backing in getting some bits sorted at the mo, and once Im back on the road again I hope to do some meets up this end anyway mate, so you'll get to see it ;)

There was another post like this a while back, and someone posted MPH gauge stencils, at the exact size too. Cant remember who/where though.
