Thread resurrection time!!!!! Im thinking of getting this done, as Ive got swirls and a few little scratches here and there. Will it make much of a difference on my metallic paint? Also, as said above, should I fill in all the stone chips etc first? Jim did you get yours done in the end?

G60 fits apparently. Not sure about the wiring though.

Get s crewdriver on the block and put the handle on to your ear, you'll hear if its bottom end as the sound will travel through the screw driver! Or just stop fannying about and get those extra valves installed :lol:

You need the engine, and not much more iirc. The mounts are the same, and the intercooler can be used too, but you'd probably want a bigger one.

What oil you using? Have you got a pressure gauge? Its not a massive job, but a bit fiddly I think.

Cant remember which colour, Blackberry I think??? Will have a look at the sticker again. Charger would be ace, but would defo need a LSD first!!! It needs one now :shock:

Youre better off getting a 1.8T 225BHP conversion. Can be done for around £3500 including the engine and parts! ;)

Took some pics after cleaning today. Wish I had some money to get the dinks and scratches sorted. Not that its bad but you just notice every little one when you clean it, bloody frustrating :mad:

PSI are on the look out for a new mechanic, preferably someone who is into te scene and doesnt mind getting their hands dirty with conversions and tuning ;)
