The Golf has the same problems as any other car that is 10yrs + old. The newer ones might be a bit better, with the OBD etc, bit it still looks sh*t next to a C IMO :)

Your car looks mint mate 8) where in Lancs are you?

Fish tank sealant is superb mate!! Think about how much a fish tank holds, and how much it weighs. 1 litre of water = 1 kilo. My tank is 180 litres = 180 kg, (13 stone) and all that is holding it together is silicon. There is no way, if done properly, that it wont take the weight of a pc! Oh, and its water proof

Never heard of it, but pics would be good ;)
-
Its 3M film, do a search ;)
-
So who is gonna be the first to find out how much they cost???

What about BDE?? Thats whats in mine ;)

The ones youre referring too arent any good for GPS, as the aerial is the wrong size to recive decent GPS signals. the aerial is actually a coil inside the body (normall). Try changing the amp first (maplin do them cheap) to see if it helps, then try with a fin aerial to see how it works after that. Then you'll know if the fin is actually any good or not. Looks wise............................thats a whole other topic ;)

Same on mine 8) Keep thinking of what others will fit though, for that "something different" look.

Can Anyone Tell Me Why My MFA says MPG 99.9?
Stan 24v replied to BlackHeartValentine's topic in Interior
Either that or the right hand peadl is welded to the floor  (99.9 MPG) -
AAA isnt an actual Corrado engine though, its a Golf VR engine. Right??
-
You spoke to Andy? He may know of one??
-
He did source it mate. He knows a lot of prople at scrappies etc. You struggling to find one then?

Cheers dude ;)

You just cant keep away from those 24v engines, can you??!!!!
-
You need to get a full on side pic with the new wheel colours mate, look good from here though ;)
-
Its not the chain thats the problem, its the chocolate chain guides ;)

It would have cost me just over £2k to get mine rebored and new pistons etc. I opted to pay a little bit extra, and I mean a little bit, and get 12 more valves ;) No regrets!! As has been said before by people, the only reason for keeping a 12v would be if you actually loved the engine, or you want to keep it standard. Yes it will go forever if looked after properly, but it will still be old and not as refined/economical/powerful etc. I love the 12v engine, but 24v is the way it should have been made in the first place, and apparently thats also what VWs plans had on them!!

Were's that from mate? JBS said that it was a lot because they fit it like its been fit the factory ie they have used all the relavant electrics[/quote:ec7b8] PSI Tuning 8) http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=32814 All the relevant electrics have to be fitted, as otherwise it wont work. They may mean that they add te climate and cruise etc?? Maybe not. That stuff wasnt included in my fit, but it couldve been if I'd had some extra cash for fitting it. Andy will quote you on whatever you want mate.

Bump for the guys doing conversions ;)

White C in a petrol station in Norwich this evening. Only got a quick glimpse on passing. -
As stated on other threads, I got my 24v engine, and labour, and parts all done for less than £3k. Ive also got a custom-code chip in it, and it should be kicking out around 220bhp (yet to confirm). An R32 is a nice option 8)
