Same here, lol. I actually traded my slightly tuned Kwak ZX6R for my first C, a 2.0 16v. The only car I'd rather have than a motorbike!!
-
I have to admit, I've never driven a VR, but in my opinion, I'd have thought the valver would handle better due to weight. That said, my other half used to own a VR, and getting into my old 1.8 16v, she reckoned the valver handled better. And she now prefers the 2.0 16v we've got over the old 1.8.

I believe there is a previous thread about these. I wasn't convinced about the thought of a Corrado estate before, but I think these do grow on you little. I'd certainly consider having one to park next to the current C.

Brilliant!!

Great photo!!!

Just wondering if anyone on here can help, or know of anyone who might be able to help. My other half and I get married at the end of August (this year), and because we met due to our mutual love of Corrados and met through the forum, we wanted to somehow incorporate the Corrado. I'll be driving to the registry office in ours, but we wanted to add an extra touch by printing the outline of a C on the paper serviettes. If anyone could help or point us in the direction of someone who can, we'd be most grateful.

Definitely one to keep and do up. Just don't be fooled into letting a breaker have it. My last C (a '91 valver) had sentimental value, I let it go to someone who claimed to be an enthusiast that wanted to do it up......the next day, it was advertised on here being broken for parts.......kinda heartbreaking really!!

Wheels are looking awesome dude, you've got exactly what I'd like on my C!!! Colour looks good from the pics you've posted, but it'll be good to see more at some point.
-
My other half had membership with CCGB, but didn't renew it after she had to sell her VR. We're just debating whether to take out membership in my name or hers. Worth the few pennies for the membership though, imo.

Great circuit that has a bit of everything. I'm also quite partial to Catalunya.
-
I'm thinking the Evo has the edge at the moment!!! R32 could be next though. What about track? How about Laguna Seca?
-
Sounds like a plan. Maybe do the same thing with tracks as well? I must admit though, Nurburgring in a VR could be interesting!! 😄
-
Standard may be the fairest way of doing it, just because of different driving styles and tuning styles. One persons tune may not suit some as much as it does others.
-
I'll be up for trying a different car. Whether that be another C or something different. How about an Evo?
-
Ok, so having given a few laps in the D331 I've managed a 1:30.158, but I know there's time to be shaved off that, plus, I'm tired and have to be up early for work, so back to it tomorrow.........and an earlier start!! lol.
-
Just posted a 1:32.321 and then realised I've done it in a standard D321 pi. Time to try it with the same car you're all using I think, lol.

I haven't been on Forza for some time now (I blame Skyrim for demanding so much of my free time.......and there isn't much of that lately, lol), but I'll be on tonight, although I'm not expecting to be that competitive straight away!!
-
Congratulations to the whole Renshaw family, and to the C as well.

Toms Fourtrak could be a good option. A woman I worked with swore by them as she was always towing a horse box with two large horses. I've never heard a good word said about discos. Everyone I've known that's had one has gotten rid ASAP. My personal preference would either be a defender or the Toyota Land Cruiser, depending on usage. I'd probably end up with Toyota though, as it's a capable off roader with the creature comforts as well.
-
May just be tempted then, may even bring the C!!
-
Where is this one? May be tempted if it's not too far.
-
Try mine out if you like, if you like my tune, I can always send it over to you (unlocked). I haven't been on Forza for a while, not since I picked up Skyrim!! But I'll try and get on one evening this week.

Naturally, 195/50 r15 is going to feel smaller than a 205/50 r15. It's going to be 10mm narrower than a 205, and the sidewall will be smaller (all be it a couple of mm), thus reducing the rolling circumference of the tyre. so yes, it is possible for it to 'feel' smaller to drive on, especially under 'spirited' driving.
-
195/50 r15 on a VR would naturally look and feel smaller because they are smaller than the OE fit 205/50 r15, both in width and aspect ratio (profile). lol

Jay, that's brilliant, although just wait until he turns 17, he'll be after the keys to your C (assuming you still have it then)!! He's got a good taste in cars already though!!
