why post 'exactly' the same kind of video as you did before with no further proof to back it up after the amount of doubt people had over your corrado's 0-60? whatever trevor!
-
argh! they dont fit??
-
yep i think a couple of sets of locking nuts are in order!
-
less than £100 purchase price if i was to buy them from germany, but over here they're a bit more than that. I decided that the hasstle involved and the hidden costs of importing werent worth what I could save in the end. They're still not extortionate for what they are, IMO they out class any other wheel you could get for the price.... which i guess is why i bought them!

valvers were made for thrashing mate
-
looks great! reminds me of getting my old red valver sprayed, just wait til the first time you wash/wax it and get it out in the sun! I'd go for fk/inpro smoked/red rear lights like i used to have and can be seen on ballys bum-end!
-
i mean both! if you read through the text the bottom pic was from an advert, and the top one is after the guy bought it and has it as a project car!
-
scroll down this guys page a bit. I didnt know they ever rallyed corrados! wouldnt have thought it would make that competative a car being a bit on the heavy side... rally prep'd corrado
-
hehe what a fine looking bunch of banana's ;) £1500 all in for a 16v isnt bad at all! looks in good shape too and yellow is nice and exclusive, what you got planned?

Seat Leon? I've heard rumours along those lines... My directional dial is fecked, but i've got a replacement unit to go in which i've greased up loads just in case! just need to get that cable and get myself upside down! -
well lets be honest kev....why try and reinvent the wheel? ho ho ho! sorry
-
ah.... mk2  just looked at the 005 pic and it they looked like rallye arches!
-
http://www.gpcvwaudi.com/ if you look in their parts section they have both the 90 and 50mm spoilers listed, I think someone said they had the prices the wrong way around so the 50mm is actually £30? could be wrong though!
-
cheers kev, if they sit out a bit too far for my tastes it just gives me justification to get the arches flaired! I dunno what it is about the VR but I'm seriously considered alot more mods than i did to my valver! the bumpy b-roads thing isnt too much of an issue, while I do enjoy a good blat along country lanes the VR isnt nimble enough to make it something I want to do all the time, especially considering the state of the country roads near me and the ammount of wildlife that likes to jump out in front of me!

that rallye looks sweet!

fitting konigsport coilies to a g60? all fitted !! 8)

shilakadaddy - my valver did that after i canged the suspension and didnt swap the top mounts, it sounds like the struts are coming loose doesnt it? quite worrying! changed the top mounts and it was all hunky dory! riley - i like the dragster stance ;) leave it like that! -
hubba hubba!
-
cool, cheers! I'll break out the plastic tomorrow then!
-
just the fact its pretty far off the the standard vr offset that got me worried...

ok, question for people 'in the know' about RH wheels. I spoke to shahid at styledynamix today and he's sorted me a good price for some RH AG's, which look alot like the zw1's but are more wallet friendly (marginaly!). they're a 17x8 and I'm almost positive he said they're ET32 in a 5x100 pattern. ET32 is going to be ALL wrong isnt it? is there any way I can get these to fit? what have other RH owners done to get their wheels on? I've heard talk of adaptors and spacers...have you guys gone for different stud patterns with a more VW friendly ET then used adaptors? all advice much apreciated!
-
i think its a bit like the storm was to the corrado, extra trim bits as they were last off the line...although I'm probably going to be slapped and corrected!
-
evidence! turns out he hit a metro, hopefully he'll develop a taste for novas and korean made cars next...
-
didnt he have a maclaren f1 which did a poor impression of kitt from knightrider? (drove into the back of a truck)
-
had this problem on my old valver when i first got it, get your PAS belt checked, mine was worn and changing it solved the mooing and weight!
-
in my totally unbias opinion....get the g60 ;)
