very nice! I like the guy worshiping at the alter of the mk1 in the background of the 2nd pic! "I'm not worthy!"
-
yep, had one of those on my valver and never worked out what it was for!
-
very nice, are they azev a's or do they just look like them? I'd space them out a bit fo rthe perfect look ;) alternativly shave a bit off the calipers, theres plenty to take off, did that on my vr after spacers created wobbles.
-
hard ot tell exactly but they look like BBS LM's to me
-
hehe yeah i thought thats what it was supposed to be, but i still say whitewalls would look good
-
oh my lord... thats beautiful
-
all i can see is sky... ...oh
-
i'm not sure if you intended it to look that way, but I'll tell you what, looking at that pic i bet a yellow C on black rims with whitewall tyres would look f***ing awesome
-
I reckon these would look good, colour coded centers, polished lips... edit...hmm... not sure actually! :? maybe its because they look white rather than silver...

looking good Mr Coxy! yellow text over the red/black striped background made my eyes go a bit wobbly though :? You've got one of the key areas down to an art... the writing style, the text is engaging which is the most important thing on a 'blog'. Looking forward to adding you to my 'blogroll' :D -
and I wasn't a million miles off with my guess of car they're coming off! same platform arent they? look nice dave, different from the style you normally see on C's so should be refreshing

I've got two swatch's and a flick-flack (anyone remember those?)
-
black with a polished lip looks lovely on most cars

New wheels 7inch/195 wide Interesting INFO found!

I understand this chaps an expert and I wouldnt claim to be anything of the sort myself, but you 'may' have scrubbing issues on full lock with 215's. I had 205's on my 8x17's and they allowed for full lock with no scrubbing, theres no way i would have got away with 215's. You'll probably find very little difference in accuracy between a 195 and a 215, although its interesting to see his calculations. keep in mind that speedos are generally innacurate to a figure of +/- 10% anyway. -
breaking news! Paul cheated to get such high figures, he ran the car on alcohol! :D
-
 imagine the corrado you could have for 16k though.... kevs! :D
-
well, yes fair enough the golf is a bit more subdued in GTI form than the ST or the CTR, but all three are nasty high sided boxy newfangled designs.
-
yeah they're not exactly stylish are they? reminds me of the part eastate part off roader volvo brought out a few years ago.
-
I think any sensible person would find it hard to justify a mk5 GTI over a Focus ST or a Chavic type R simply based on the price, all three have simular power, good handling and style wise, theres really not alot in it. obviously most of us VW nuts arent sensible though ;)

bit of feedback for you matey, firstly I got the java problem in both IE and in Firefox, although I have the newest version of java installed. I guess you have some script on there to detect java which is playing up. like ben, the navigation buttons didnt all fit on my screen without sideways scrolling, which ain't great from a usability point of view, also the way you're splitting the navigation into two isnt ideal, it'd work better if all the buttons were grouped together. keep it up, the only way you get better at this stuff is through experiance :) -
phatvr6 had/has a funky side exit system on his r32 corrado, swichable between a nice quite everyday backbox mounted at the back of the car and a rawkus side exit for being a hooligan. might be worth having a chat with him.

begging for a g-man style conversion! hopfully we'll see more of these on the VW scene now the prices are dropping, early tdi's and 1.8t's can be had for peanuts, the syncro is a rarer beasty though.

top marks for having a bash yourself, looks like you made a good job of it!
