  1. Keith Flint? the lead singer in any case I think she painted it pink?!
  2. mate of ine looked at 944's before he got a TT (i know, i know). He could afford a nice example, but he decided with cars coming up to 100k miles its more than likely mechanical parts would need replacing/renewing pretty soon. He got a few quotes from garages for stuff like a clutch change, gearbox rebuild, head rebuild etc but the prices were so high he scrapped the idea all together and went for the TT. Its a simular thing to corrado ownership, if you can swallow the fact that parts for the car will be expensive and alot of places will charge you oodles of cash for work simply becuase its a porker, then go for it.
  3. had ventura's on my 16v - avoid! they're horrible! I ran mine with bilstien shocks and they had a nasty tendancy to bounce over bumps in an alarming way. Bilstien shocks are usually ok from what I hear so I put it down to the springs.
  4. why are you wanting to change it? bored of the same car? fancy something a bit new? more power? personally I'd say charge it and give it a new lease of life ;) My only experiance with any of the above cars is with a bora I had as a loan car while my 16v was in for a service many moons ago. Horrible wallowy heavy thing with no feel in the steering, they look nice enough but unless you did serious work to the suspension I dont think it'd be much 'fun' to chuck about. The 2.0 I borrowed didnt inspire any confidence
  5. you'd have thought the side mounted machine guns would've given the game away...
  6. wasnt there a bug that meant you could only ever get to 98% in GT3?
  7. Found this via digg.com, i wasnt reading the fastcar website, honest! First example of a charger with a gearbox, should make for some interesting projects! warning - chav website
  8. shesh, the ring in a car would be scary enough. the ring on a bike at full chat would require a colostomy bag.
  9. got to 30% then my saved game got corrupted on the memory card and I had to start over... my hearts not in it this time around! gutted!
  10. http://www.chris-hill.co.uk/bwarp.swf my old VR, stock exhaust, k&n filter. sound qualitys not great though. I almost cried when I listened to it just now :(
  11. have a word with chrisvr6 nos, he imports jap cars and can probably get you a nice Mitzi for well under what you'd pay over here, or at least a newer one for the same cash. Theres a TON of good jap 4x4's about, but from what I hear the discovery is very compitent off road.
  12. any use chris? http://www.bildon.com/catalog/DetailsList.cfm?ID=CATTVW034&Nav=6

    pimp my sebrings

i reckon they'd look pretty smart polished up with 10mm spacers to push them out a bit
  14. simular power in a lighter car, I'm not 'too' suprised the ibiza had the edge on the strights, and in fairness to Paul he did say he'd 'heard rumour' it was an 350bhp IHI, not that it definatly was. I dont think he was casting aspersions about a tuned up ibiza being slow, more that the driver wasnt so hot which if he was a track newbie, appears to be right. Also explains his mistakes in track etiquette.
  15. cars quick, he isnt ;) no amount of fettling can replace superiour drivers skills
  16. doh! minus not plus!!! (bangs head off wall)
  17. Driver skill obviously plays a big part, If you're on a track you should know all about apex's and braking/accerating points however I doubt many people can use that knowladge to their advantage in an adrenaline filled track situation. sounds to me like you've got a knack for it! of course being slightly unhinged helps too ;)
  18. top ones, they look awesome!
  19. well, with 20mm adaptors it'd give you et 34 up front and et 40 rear, which would be fine on a corrado, the only issues you might have is with the widths, a 10" rear is fecking wide, you'd need the arches pulled/flared a fair old bit to get away with it.
  20. thats a mentally quick bike, hope the guy is wearing more protection than his mate!
  21. behold! my old valver, G plate with keep fit windows.
  22. blimey, thats a bit quick! harsh change up to 2nd gear though...oof!
  23. phatvr6's swichable backbox... side exit for trackdays and boyracer moments, swichable to a nice subtle (mk4 i think?) backbox for day-to-day driving.
  24. loving the new avatar, nowt like a bit of plopp in the pink room :?
