xr2 pepperpots anyone? I dont think they'd work on a corrado at all
-
i think theres a few shades, but yeah one of thems Atlas. seen another smart forfour in the 'colbolt blue' i suggested before, wish i could get a decent pic of the colour, it'd look well nice with a tan leather interiour...mmmm
-
paint it? well why not, another chance to add your own individual touch to the car. personally i'm loving pastely greys and browns like toffeerado's and that chap with the TT grey valver (whos username I forget). They suit the C well IMO. I spotted a really nice colour on a smart the other day which is along simular lines, its alot greyer in real life, like TT grey with a hint of greeny blue.

BRC Live 06 (British Rally Championship) - Guess the stars..

nice pics as always mate, looks like it was a top day! -
they look alot like BBS LM's, but I think they have a more curved face than the LM's do...

(on the old valver) bilstien 'sport' kit from ECP - comprises bilstien shocks and ventura springs. AVOID! cheap but nasty, -40mm springs with standard length shocks made for a bloody bouncy ride, better than 15 year old stock items, but not by much. (on the old VR) Koni non-adjustables with koni 60mm springs. lovely, bit harsh over big bumps but nothing to worry about, great cornering, solid feel, good for everyday driving too.

I agree to an extent, it would create a stir at shows, however there are a ton of other euro raddos which arent as overstyled as that which would also be able to remove socks from feet. Yes, compared to some examples on the continent yours is tame, but that doesnt mean they're better. at the end of the day its your car and your choice, undoubtedly it'll still win awards whatever you do to it since its WAY over the bar for what the UK is used to, just dont over-egg the pudding!

hmm sorry lee, that bonnet looks w*nk. I know you quite like being different from the norm, but that way too nova/saxo for the corrado. smoothed bumpers I like, and the smoothed in side skirts (although maybe not those particular ones) look smart. got to disagree with scarlett on the paint... save it for TVR's

nutters, reminds me of that old joke about 'crumple zones' on mini's being between the headlights and the rear bumper. Surely the chassis isnt up to that much power is it? I'd expect serious twisting with 300bhp!

try some engine cleaner before paying to have them swapped, it can sometimes dislodge muck around the tappets and allow them to adjust properly.

dont back down, its your car, they HAVE to return it to the condition it was in before the accident. If the place repairing it has done a sh*t job TWICE, then demand it be taken to another repair place, its likely there will be another one in your area. TBH if you're willing to battle it out with the insurance company for a few weeks you could probably get them to take it to VW, but it'd be a hard battle. I think you've got a strong case to prove the 'approved repairers' are a bunch of muppets. if all else fails threaten them with the insurance ombudsman. A division of the financial ombudsman service who specifically sort out disputes between insurers and customers. best of luck!

looks like an audi RS badge? nice looking valver anyway mate, looks very low at the front!
-
interesting, but the article reads like it was written by a 12 year old!

 abooooooooooooooooout... TURN!

it'd have to be a very special C to pull those off, on a standard car they'd look stupid.

based on what I've experianced, it'd have to be a charged VR6 for me. 16v's are loads of fun, but you have to make them work hard to get the best out of them, simple engine and cheap running are plus's. N/A VR6 is a hoot, plenty of lazy power and enough torque in any gear to make sure the drive is 'spirited'. the engine is a heavy old lump though, and for me the VR never seemed to have enough oomph to compensate for the gained engine weight. S/C VR6 restores that imballance, it utterly transforms the VR plant from lazy and powerful to frantic and even more powerful! the sound is sublime, a mix of V6 warble and charger whine... love it. never driven a g60 so cant comment on that front, wouldnt mind a go though just to find out what they're all about.

that looks really nice mate, one of my favorite colours and low-as-you-like. what width d90's are you running and what width spacers? they're sitting just right in the arches.

Looks like the 'rat might get saved! Opinions..

VR for me, power to match the looks. -
sounds like a dying fuel pump, as you get to higher speeds it needs to work harder and as they're on the way out they dont cope so well.
-
this was my homo momo race in the VR, felt lovely 'in hand' although I'm not overly keen on the metal center... not sure what size it is though

press the 'print screen' key then paste into your favorite graphics package (paint would do) and save.

i said something along the lines of both his corrados look good, and he did a good job of the repairs, then welcome to the site! (i think :?)
