i had this problem and it turned out to be the immobiliser on the alarm had failed got it fixed and all good again

ensured all connections on the parts replaced were ok also check the coil pak for signs of cracking ?

funny that i thought it was called SOD'S LAW happened to me 2 weeks ago when had my mot booked at 10 am on the tuesday everyting was done and ready and thought i would do a quick last minute check and i had no headlights after mucking around with the uprated loom worked out one of the relays had died by the time i had sourced a new one it was 1030 and i missed my slot so had to wait till friday but at least it passed :D corrados have a bad habbit of FAILING just when someting important is going to happen and the worst thing there is never any warning ahhhh the joys of ownership :D

after i came out of audi when picking up my wipers on tuesday a couple of lads stoped next to me at the lights and the passenger asked if i would swap his P1 scooby for my rado :D and later that day when paying for fuel the girl behind the counter commented how nice my car was and that you dont see them very often quite chuffed as that was the first day i had driven it for nearly 3 years :D
