Wanted Anyone with a Obd2 plastic intake pipe. pn 3a0129627k going spare? Mine is split and the 42 draft intake pipe i have wont fit with my schrick. Thought i would ask before going to stealers.. Many thanks Paul

Its in the pipe going onto the throttle body, squeeze your old pipe and you will feel a hard piece about 4 inches or so in. I cut the pipe to expose the metal one way valve and put it in the samco hose. just make sure you put it in the same way as it was in the std hose..

The two hoses are isv and pcv hoses When we did our 7 hose group buy of samco they are what we got with 5 coolant hoses... I ended up getting new factory oil cooler hoses to make up the coolant kit

Dont know if you guys are aware of the metal one way valve that you need to remove from your standard hoses. Located in the heater matrix - head - throttle body coolant pipe. I wasnt aware at time of fitting my samco hoses and although it blead out and drove fine i had a bubbling / girgling noise when turning the ignition on from being left. Did a bit of searching on net and after fitting the valve ive had no noises / girgles.. Paul

No from memory it was £70 trade, twise the amount i was expecting so as a good wiil gesture they did my rocker cover for free. Worth noting though it looks as good now as it did then,

When i did my vr6 inlet manifold i spent some time blocking and sanding it smooth then got some scrap ali to blank over the two faces so when shot blasting and powdercoating it couldnt get inside. Put some scrap bolts in the relevant holes so the powdercoat doesn't fill them up I went for powdercoat silver with clear powdercoat, costs about twise the norm but stays looking good for longer and is much more resilliant - plus gives a much more asthetic look imo. But as luck would have it i stumbled across a suitable replacement whilst under the bonnet of a customers car at work.. Landrover freelander td4 vacume reservoir part no stc4543 £28 from main dealers but around £18 non oem -above Looks identical to the replacement schrick one listed from america $65 -below [ATTACH=CONFIG]51423[/ATTACH]

Very expensive is right.. i looked at getting a vr6 manifold ceramic coated a while back,£230 plus shipping plus vat for the base black version, £380 - £640 for the sexy chilled red look.. Zircotec so mabie able to get a little cheaper elsewhere .. But F**k
