2. Hey just a quick one; my inlet elbow is split and looks to have slightly melted by the heat sheild, im running obd2 so the pipe is slightly smaller in diameter than the standard corrado one which i am using as a stop gap till i get a replacement. Questions being; Is it worth changing to the power roar etc type or just getting a factory plastic replacement? - other than just bling... Is it also worth going down the catch can method and rerouting the pcv from the intake? Basically those that have done the catch can route and or modified inlet elbow - would you bother doing it again? Paul
3. Hi Dave could i have a set for a vr6 if still available. Paul
4. I get; "With all the money you have spent on that, you could have got urself a nice car by now" - My boss everytime i use the workshop "You still playing around with that pile of scrap" "Hows your Scirocco" Or "Corrolla" There is no Corrado love with my work collegues
5. Yes in a word, im running with none at all on mine. With regards to mot mine went through without them the other day Paul
6. Looking at various forums it seems that most samco kits are missing the oil cooler pipes. Amber are now listing the coolant kit as a 9 hose kit now instead off the 7 that was in the group buy. It wouldn't have been a problem if these companys were upfront with what there actually selling. My last email to Amber i stated a comparison that you would be pretty pi**ed if you bought a 7 piece central heating system and 5 bits turned up with two guttering pipes thrown in - strangely i didn't get a response.
7. Just a few bits of titivation left to do but a mile stone has been reached. 11. Not a worry on courier, i sent a bumper out last week for £7 so i dont see why they cant collect for that price. Pics would be great. Paul
12. Hey Im interested in the front bumper, is it totally straight and without digs? How much would you want for it posted to devon? Thanks Paul

18. The problematic hoses that were not part of the coolant kit. emails to James at Amber performance seem to have been a waste of time. I asked could they exchange the wrong hoses for the oil cooler hoses -firstly he said i was looking at the wrong part of the engine, then the hoses were not part of the kit. I asked which hoses for a coolant kit they were and me said - i think they are the oil cooler hoses... I explained that the two hoses are not coolant hoses at all they are isv and pcv hoses with 5 coolant hoses. They wont exchange them and got abrupt with their replys...
19. Been a while, moving house / illness with a month off work and bringing the car back from my mates barn. I got round to renewing the weeping thermostat housing and fitting stainless bolts. Fitting my Samco hoses at long last.
20. Sorry guys ive only just noticed i had replys, still getting used to the new forum with not getting notifications. Pm's sent to everyone. A few pics of the bolts in place. Paul
21. It is only 8 bolts to renew all the housing bolts. I trimmed a few mm of some of the speced bolts so they are 100% same length as factory. Can do the 8 stainless cap bolts and washers for £5 plus postage - Royal mail will cost: £1.40 1st class or £2.15 1st class recorded Let me know if anyones interested.
22. As above. In the process of renewing my thermostatt housing ive ditched the corroded standard cap bolts and matched them with stainless replacements. I think its a ideal upgrade if planning on keeping ur car. would anyone be interested in renewing the corroded factory ones like i have? i have some spare and if required i can purchase more.. Paul
23. Removed the weeping thermostatt housing, stripped and renewed o rings into new housings.. Threw away the corroded housing bolts and matched new stainless cap bolts.
