I never had any on my 280mm rear brakes,....ever And come to think of it,I haven't got any on the front either ! Unless you're 100% original,(what you're not) why bother

When my gearbox "threw" a bearing,I had mine rebuilt into a different shell,anything worn was replaced,my local mechanic new a "bloke" in a shed, and it cost me under £300, You could always use a diesel box and graft the gears into one of your shells,giving you a top speed between 176-192mph ! Which will give you very low revs at 70mph, I've got a wavetrac fitted in mine,and I highly recommend fitting a LSD

These are now SOLD Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Bought new when I had mine resprayed,but never used them,(front wing mouldings were obsolete,) still in the original wrappings,been laid flat in the dark in my loft,price is LESS then I paid for one door moulding ! £70 posted for all 4,I'm in Kent if anybody wants to pick them up If you want more pics,give me a shout

I think over the years I’ve done many,many mods to mine, But my favourite the 20vt CTN box with wavetrac,wakens the C up,having done 100k on the old 16v,and about the same on the 20vt,it still brings a smile driving to work,(and 50mpg on the motorway)
