  1. The ignition switch wouldn't cause everything to shut down if it failed, unless it broke between run and start. It's a common problem, but that doesn't mean it's your problem this time. Do you have history of the car struggling to start? Another cause of the car going click and failing to start could be bad earth points between the block and the battery/chassis. But that wouldn't explain your complete electrical failure. If the x relief relay has failed, that would cut all power except for the power to the fuel pump, ecu, engine electrics and starter. But if they aren't working then either your battery is dead or the relay has failed.
  2. I'd say you have a broken wire in the door hinge area. There is nothing else involved in the electric window operation that cares about the doors position.
  3. So long as everything else is OK and you are getting decent compression, I'd say you're fine. Vince and Co will check the quality of everything else in there during the fit anyway.
  4. It's not the suspension that will save me. It's the winch I fitted to the front.
  5. Luckily it's not a trailer queen or dry weather car...
  6. My post was lost on you then.
  7. I can do you a mint one for £120...
  8. It's not too bad a number given location and time of year?
  9. Why have the hassle of having to use the clocks when you can have the immobiliser deleted for £100 or so? The rest goes in easily then.
  10. You'll just need the immobiliser deleted from the ecu and then you can wire it all in minus clocks.
  11. Everyone still good for next week? Just a bump for any else who wants to join us.
  12. I've learnt to drive with a squint in my right eye at night!
  13. Hmm R32 project eh?! I would like a good project. Now I just need space!
  14. Me Sean or other Sean? Just smash Larkspeed into Google.
  15. No unless you have the right 16's with plenty of clearance. Something like a Compomotive TH. 312MM brakes fit under a lot more 16's if you are looking for alternatives.
  16. Larkspeed was cheapest when I looked a few weeks back. About £615 if I remember.
  17. Looking forward to seeing how they look and your opinion of how they drive.
  18. But it wouldn't have been yours Sean! That is very definitely your car!
  19. I bought a complete dog of a car, very little was right with it and spent the difference between my dog and a half decent version doing it back up. My paintwork is pretty bad but at least I know the mechanical side of things is pretty spot on. Took over a year though!
