In case anybody else wants to go to the vr6oc rr day on the 1st March, get in quick over on that forum, there's 5 places or so left.
-
Cool, no doubt we'll catch up at some point.
-
Just seen you're in Derbyshire. How many miles are on the shocks?
-
More than likely. Nothing is 100% of course but looking good so far.
-
Come on up Sean, it'll be good to meet you and the 'Storm' or Sack this off and go rolling!
-
Where are you located? Sorry I'm on tapatalk and that doesn't show location details.
-
Very tempting! I used mine for a couple of skip runs the other day. Worked a treat!
-
Nice to see they've only gone up 50p or so. That makes a nice change!

I don't think the BBC would have deliberately told any civvi organisations of it's visit but it must surely of had to get permission from the authorities and seeing how useless the police were, I wouldn't be surprised if the protesters were tipped off by a sympathiser within the authorities. All looks genuine to me and I honestly feel that the number plate thing was nothing more than pure coincidence. Top Gear can be aggravating at times, but they aren't completely stupid.
-
Is that a yes then?
-
They would take have them in stock but call ahead and they will :-)
-
Go to vw mate, they're only a quid or 2 each and they'll be brand spanking new!
-
Cool, Mic, if you are moving, we'll "HELP" I'm sure!

I've started a thread so that we can hopefully entice more people out into a cold car park! http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=89590

Carried over from the Christmas meet organised by Mic in Peterborough. Current plans are for a meet in Rutland at a time and place to be decided in the next few weeks or so. Aim is to meet up, talk crap and eat some good food and having it somewhere in Rutland will make it within 90 mins for plenty of people. Currently I propose the 1st of Feb and I know all dates are not available to all people but I thought I would set a date in the hope that 4 weeks is enough time for most people to organise themselves. Location not set yet but there are plenty of great places. Who is in?

I can't remember exactly mate. It was 5 or 6 years ago and I've now got a 24v which has significantly fewer vacuum pipes. Look at every rubber pipe you can find and Check carefully.
-
Easy to clean is the name of the game at this time of year!
-
No sorry, engine vacuum hose. Look around the engine for splits in any rubber hoses. They may be small or closed up so get in there and move the pipes about. On my 12v, I found a pipe under the air intake pipe that had rubbed and melted against the block.
-
It may be purely coincidental that you have developed a vacuum leak at the same time. Those symptoms are classic spilt vacuum hose!
-
Government cut backs Sean. Black is only for mission critical stuff.
-
It wouldn't run at all then?
-
Gold and green really do work well!
-
Are the pipes all on nice and tight? Maybe you're getting air being drawn in.

I used white maskers and everything Sean, you should see my prowess with a tube of PRC!
