Blackberry VR6 Turbo 4WD- now for sale £7,800

Ye, as mentioned previously on this thread, although there are a few VRTs with more power, they can just 'spin away' the extra force. The 4wd doubles the strain on the drivetrain, which on a standard box= crunchy time.... ---------- Post added at 7:38 PM ---------- Previous post was at 7:36 PM ---------- It has transformed the car- just need to stop trying to put the daily and the work vehicles into 6th after driving the rado!!! Blackberry VR6 Turbo 4WD- now for sale £7,800

It was the first dry and free weekend I have had for a while, so I gave it a clean and polish as the new car cover has arrived. It's a bit pricey but fits like a glove and looks like it will hold the elements out: http://www.everycarcovered.com/138-all-year-protection/71-all-year-protection-car-cover.html I got a few videos of the 6 speed Quaife in action as well! The first one is a very shaky passenger view! But it gives a fair idea of the noise from the inside: Then a couple of fly bys: And winding down: -
I never got one of these- I did renew in September and also contacted Dave to change address, maybe it has gone out to my old one?

I wish I could tell you how it was done but I bought the car all done, as did Oz, the previous owner! Have a look at the golf+ article on my members thread which gives an outline of how they did it: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?73937-Blackberry-VR6-Turbo-4x4-VIDEOS -

This is looking good, nice to see it's nearly finished 4wd doesn't disappoint in one of these! -
I bought mine as I think it is a pretty ultimate Corrado. Fairly plain to look at but it's a Blackberry and the engine and running gear couldn't be taken much further. It could make a lot more power if I ever had the balls to open the boost up properly! Mark Gunn's Corrado is also pretty mental, 20vt with 4wd running sub 10 second quarters! And JMRs 16vG60 is one of the best in all respects if you're into modded rados.

I believe 2 drivers side gives the best fit.

I was stuck in a jam in the town centre when a tidy looking MILF came and knocked on the window and said 'nice colour!' Not quite as good as 'nice car' but still a chuftie I guess!
-
And I believe the other VRT is now owned by me! I was there in the G60 and it was great to see a Corrado being driven like that, and shows just how capable they are in the right hands. What would of been more interesting is if John had driven one of the VRTs....

I was never sure if it was real but it certainly was funny...

This could be one of 'those' threads, like the Jason Plato fan or the mustang owner who flushed his engine with water... Can't wait.

I have some Team Dynamics pro race 1s for trackdays. There's loads knocking about on ebay- keep an eye out for a set with track tyres already on to save some money.
-
I think there are 2 metal clips on the side that hold it in, but I guess it just pops out with a flat head screwdriver down one side. 39.99 is a bit steep in my opinion, I got mine for 15 posted on the forum. If you're in no rush then just ask on all the cars being broken.
-
this happened to me last week- the switch is probably broken. You can pull the switch out of the dash and if you pull the plug out of the back then the lights will go off. That should make it usable till you get another one. Best bet is to keep checking the cars breaking section for a working one.

I have used ebay a lot over the years, both buying and selling, and rarely had any problems. I've noticed recently though, that there are some people who don't seem to have a clue how to use it properly. It might be because of the recession, but I had 2 people win PS3 games from me last week who haven't paid. I invoiced them after 2 days. Still no payment. Contacted them both today and asked for payment. Both of them said they would pay me next weekend as they 'r waitin to 2 get payd' and seemed confused as to why I was bothering them about it! Waiting to get paid so that you can pay me £5.00 for an old PS3 game? Seriously? If you are that skint then why are you buying stuff on ebay??! Luckily they are both small amounts but it's the attitude that surprises me, not to mention the fact that I will now have to make a separate trip for these two when I wanted to post about 20 together to save me time and money. Rant over! Everyone has the odd bad experience but has anyone else noticed it becoming worse?

That's so cool. A word of warning though about dark icing- my Mum made a Darth Vader cake for a party when I was little and all my friends parents were horrified when they all started pi**ing black water the next day!!! That was pure black though so you might be ok with this one!

Thanks, I'll take it PMed

I have some G60 bits to get rid of- only really looking to cover postage and packing for most of these (so prices are with postage included) or they will be going in the bin! If anyone wants to collect then they can have them for free, except the boost gauge. Located in Shrewsbury. Various boost pipes- £5 each for small ones, £15 each for big ones Intercooler- working fine when I removed it £30 Radiator with fan- working fine when I removed it, only defect I can see is a split bit of plastic where one of the bolts is, although this didn't cause a problem when fitted £30 Plastic snorkel from infront of the airbox- £5 Other random plastics- £5 each Plastic from infront of intercooler- £5 Autogauge boost gauge- this illuminates but as you can see would need some connectors as the wires have been chopped- £15

Get them from JMR in Littlehampton or Jabbasport. Avoid dodgy ebay chips or unkown tuners as the G60 mapping is quite specialist.
