Well it does live sort of! Someone had reversed into it with a trailer on the passenger side but the chap still wanted £££ for it so I decided not to bother, shame to leave one behind though, was still salvageable, might still have the chaps number if you want your old car back dracoro?

Bad move offering to do the servicing, I'd be buying it back in a couple of months! And they don't come up for sale in twilight very often, one day I will own one:-), well done on the sale.

The first corrado vr6 I ever drove was in this colour, got to be the best corrado colour ever! Would love this Having just read the ad I'd say put the silver speed lines back on:-) the gold clashes with the purple in my eyes, but lovely car and GLWTS

Any of you guys Commdore/C64/Amiga guys back in the days?

Ahh jet set willy, Dan dare, i used to set the tape player up and wait till the coloured line screen then go play over the park with my mate for 30 mins to come back and find the game had crashed! The good old days, I think I had just about every console up to the 360 slim, import dreamcast, neo geo etc but I must be getting old as I still haven't plunged for a ps4 but have just bought my lad a wii u and am now playing the first zelda on it, (remember the gold game cartridge;-)) -

I'm going to look at a green 'so called' storm at the weekend but its missing its badges and has speedlines fitted. It's registration date is 10/12/1994. Anybody have or know if any storms were 1994's? I've tried vw but didn't have a lot of luck, but will check the paint code, anything else? it has its beige heated leather and the badge on the gear around is missing also the guy doesn't sound very clued up so it could be a find:-)
-
It's definatly hit and miss when contacting vw, once I had a guy who was no help and then another who totally knew what he was doing and confirmed my old storm. Phoned them the other day and I had a bit of a letdown as the lad wasn't very helpfull but strangely told me to go online and visit vintagevwmuseum.de or whatever it's called and I could find out more info there??
-
Cheers jim, I'll make a phone call to vw to make sure

I've just done a quick vehicle check and it was first registered on 10/12/1994, I'm sure I read somewhere there were some early storms?

A friends got a chance of a corrado which appears to be a storm, anybody owned the above car or recognise the reg? And what is the green paint code they came in? I know it's only mystic in the blue. It's also coming up as a 1994 car and I thought all storms were 95, or were there a few 94's? Cheers
-
Ah mystic blue is nice, and the 18's are supposed to give a nicer purer drive. C,an't believe how many rado owners have m3's:-) Good skills at least i don't feel on my own! And vr6 gar, gutted on the subframe and they look proper in silver, it was my next best colour. I took my mechanic mate who has all the top end diagnostic kit with me when i viewed mine. I did everything wrong, viewed in the dark, didn't drive it and bought the first car i saw, (well he did have an estoril blue one too but didn't float my boat). Anyway i had a good feeling about the car and was right, subframes all good on mine so far.

Well the storm went the other week, it was looking very nice when i cleaned her up and was gutted when it was driven away but at least i've got a new car to take my mind off it. Heres the storm before she went And the e46 m3 that replaces it Very happy with the m3 especially as i found one in my favourite colour and the bodywork is a1, no rot anywhere or dings. I went for an smg car which i was weary of at first but it really is awesome to use, flat foot shifting in s6 is pretty awesome and lets you just concentrate on going fast. Also the sound these make on the downshift is pretty epic, it defiantly has a lot in common with the vr6 as its a great gt car but also a hard charger when needed. Had the car on mates ramps and found it needs new rear springs as they always snap right at the bottom, front control arm bush and some new rear discs and pads, sort that and it'll be perfect:-) I'll be on the hunt for another rado in the new year as i don't think i could ever not have one, so watch this space:-)

^^ That was a BIG thumb of appreciation:-)

I believe the controller will work with obd 1 or 2, it's the manifold itself that is designed to run obd1, you'll need adapter plates up by the throttle butterfly to accept obd2 I think.
