Has anyone got any pics of a Corrado on gloss black Speedlines please? My VR6 is red and I've got a set or speedlines in the shed that could do with a refurb. I'm wondering what it'd look like when lowered with shiney black Speedlines. I know the ride will be better than my current ABT 17s!

Could very well be the switch, If it's a late spec car they have a different switch which can be unreliable, the early ones have a Mk2 Golf switch which is very robust. A new (secondhand - I believe VW have discontinued them) switch sorted my headlight problems on my 1995 VR.

My brother and I changed my rad without taking the front bumper off, I can't quite remember how we did it but it was fiddly. Had to take the battery out and a few other hoses I think.

I've had the Scirrocco one a few times, more worringly when asked my a girl what car I drive and replying Corrado she says oh I know the ones, they look a bit like a 3 series compact :gag:

Absolutely lovely, a car I would love to own and one that's definately on my list to own after (or aswell as) my VR!

I bought new front discs and pads from my local VW dealer for £127 and fitted them myself. I thought it wasn't a bad price for genuine items.

I'd be very interested in this, you've got the same wheels as me 8)

I had trouble with my headlights a few weeks ago. the dipped beam wouldn't work on both sides. A new (secondhand) switch fixed it. HTH

Neither of the links have any information regarding AP coileys which is why I started a new thread. Thanks for the advice though, I'm going to go with Weitecs. 8) Cheers.

Hi, I beed to get my Corrado lowered, badly. I've seen that you can buy AP coileys for about £330 which is very good value for money if they are are any good! Has anyone had any experience of them? Thanks!

Awesome looking car! How do you find the AP coileys? I have been tempted by these but have persuaded myself to save up the extra and go for Weitecs. Your views on the APs would be much appreciated!

Hi, I'm looking for advice on what's a good product to condition my black recaro leather? It isn't dirty or worn but i'd just like something to freshen it up abit! Any help or advice appreciated :)

That interior is lovely, I've got the same recaro electric leather and about 15mins ago I bought the same steering wheel on Ebay! Have you treated your leather at all? It looks less shiney than mine. Lovely car!

Quick update! Sorry for the delay.... The car did have an uprated headlight loom fitted by the previous owner but he took it off and re fitted the standard as he said it didn't work too well. I bought a second hand headlight switch (late type) from ebay for £24.40 delivered which isn't a bargain price but I figured it was worth it as second hand ones are becoming rarer. I've also heard rumours that VW have stopped making new units? I fitted the switch this afternoon and the headlights work exactly as they should. However, i noticed that the brown wire had melted its insulating plastic off almost completey! I recovered it in electrical tape but am not happy about it. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening? Also, is it possible to fit another VAG switch inplace of the Corrado one? As they are such a weakspot I wouldn't mind using a more readily available switch and saving my new late Corrado switch for when I eventually come to sell the car... Cheers.

I saw a blue 'N' reg Corrodo going down Hayes Lane in Kenley today at about 11.30. It was the first time I've seen another Corrado whilst driving mine since I got it about 6 months ago. I gave a flash and a wave but the silly bint driving it had no idea what was goin on. Apologies if it's anyone on here but I don't think it was! :lol:

I'm not super keen on the wheels either, or the headlight nozzles! The paintwork looks amazing though, I know how good a polished up red C can look cos I've got one! Best colour 8)

It looks so much better with 16" Speedlines! I love it. :grin:
