  1. Would you need High Temp, surely the Inlet Manifold runs pretty cool (certanly does on my 16V). I am painting my spare upper/lower manifolds at work with 2 pack aerospace paint - It is stoved in an oven after painting @ 60 > 80c and I don't imagine it will reach these type of temperatures whilst on the car? Ian.
  2. £60.00 max for Febi on VW Spares http://www.vwspares.co.uk/corrado_brakes.php Ian.
  3. Perhaps have a look at this? http://www.dubdesignindustries.com/audilights/ Ian.
  4. " Took 30 mins on my KR (more space to get a socket onto the top bolt), just under an hour on Swompy's 9A (could do it much quicker now!), because of all the faffing about. " - And hopefully this will prove to be true on Saturday Andy!! Fingers crossed, Ian :D
  5. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-REAR-AERO-WIP ... 3358c5730a This is what I use, a good match for the TT Fronts. Ian.
  6. And the plastic suspension strut caps too, Might have to start a wanted thread soon  I picked some up from VW as soon as I bought my Corrado, as to the best of my knowledge they were never fitted to the later cars - Priced less than £1.00 each from memory. Ian.

  8. Beru are around £50 + VAT from VW Spares: http://www.vwspares.co.uk/corrado_electrical.php Ian.
  9. Attempted to replace all 4 of mine today as they were rusty to varying degrees - The ones nearest the back each side were no problem but the other is hidden by the strut cylinder. Any suggestions on how to get to it, perhaps remove the circlip and pop out the retaining pin that holds the strut into the bracket? Some pics below, before and after: passat climatronic wiring diags.pdfCorrado Tailgate Strut Bolts 001.jpg[/attachment:3vh46n9t] climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfCorrado Tailgate Strut Bolts 002.jpg[/attachment:3vh46n9t] 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfCorrado Tailgate Strut Bolts 003.jpg[/attachment:3vh46n9t] Corrado Tailgate Strut Bolts 004.jpg[/attachment:3vh46n9t] If anybody else wants to replace theirs with St/Steel ones, I can now supply them @ £1.50 a set of 4 posted. Contray to popular belief and depending on it's grade, St/Steel can rust (normally to a lesser degree) so these have been Nitric Acid passivated which removes any ferric contamination from the surface of the material and therefore keep them in great condition for longer. Ian.

  14. thats exactly what i do, its annoying at the moment though in the winter, i drive 30 mins home from work and literally as i get home it turns 80 degrees so no playtime on way home from work :( :( My daily commute is 15miles (half hr) journey, my temp's normally upto speed after 10minutes! :D[/quote:25tcsbo3] Same here, takes about 10 mins to get the 2.0 16V up to 80c.
