Thank you for your effort and offer. I think this part is little too far gone for my restoration project, but thank you all the same. If you hear or see another please let me know.

Brill, look forward to seeing you there . We have 3 plots on the lawn, to the side of the Chateau, along the main entrance. Premium largers it is then at the outside bar [emoji106]

Our cheeky Chateau is based in the village of Sille-Le-Phillipe or "Silly Phillip" as it has become. Joking aside, it is a beautiful location set in a rural medieval village. The facilities are excellent and include, inside outside bar, piping hot showers, outdoor heated swimming pool, and a fooking great big plasma screen in the outside bar which is permanently tuned in to the Race [emoji106][emoji12] the family arrange evening entertainment for each night of our stay, with a band, classic car show, BBQ, etc it's a brill little find.

Thank you for your offer. I am seeking a complete unit which is to be part of the restoration of my own Storm. What is the nature of the repair? Pics would be useful here please. Many thanks.

Anyone able to help here??

There are some very well informed and equipped enthusiasts out in Oz. I have a number of friends out there, all with or past owners of Corrado G60's. Parts can be in short supply, but we do send parts out to keep these guys rolling. It would be a good idea to stock up on some essential parts now and pack them into that container.

We can supply you with KW, ST (formerly Weitec), and AP coilovers. If your budget is circa £450 then we would recommend the AP kit which offers fantastic quality with TUV approval and great value for money. We have fitted many sets of AP coilovers to Corrado and without exception they have been well received by each customer. Give us a call to discuss your requirements and for answers to any questions you may have. 01903718684 http://www.johnmitchellracing.co.uk

I think there are currently 6 Corrados in Oz and all of them I think I'm right in saying are G60's. We have looked after a number of them and all of them were imported from UK. They are seriously cool out there and the only prob with that is getting access to your Corrado, after having parked it, as it will be surrounded by admirers! Take it with you.

Planning to make this same journey and always happy to run up as a convoy from the South. Would be good to plan a route that garters up other Corrados along the way [emoji106]

Nice work [emoji106]

Ideally you should balance the front and rear to keep the track relative front and rear.

Well good morning Chris [emoji1] your forum handle got me thinking you might have been so one else. I'm not immediately familiar with Hornet alarms, but if is has a battery back up siren then that would be worth investigation for your noise. We are approved Tracker installers and we see many Corrados fitted with first generation systems. The early units do cause problems but not by making noises, as they don't have any audible function. The fault we see so often with 1st generation Tracker units, is that of battery current drain faults, causing the vehicle to discharge the main battery after as little as 48 hours. Again this is caused by old batteries in the Tracker unit leaking and corrupting the units electronics. I hasten to add, later Tracker units do not suffer in this way. I'm not a fan of retro fit car alarms, generally speaking, as I find all to often, they cause more issues to those who have legitimate right to access, rather than repelling the attentions of those who don't. That said, they are required for insurance purposes and to a degree, some peace of mind. My own Corrado is fitted with a Cobra unit and it is the only system I have ever had reliable trouble free service from.

Jonesyraddo ?? Is this William I'm talking to??
-
Well that's good news, from one pout of view anyway [emoji1] If that is the case then it's possibly the old leaking batteries in the back up siren issue? What alarm is fitted? This should be much easier to resolve and considerably less expensive [emoji106]

Pleasure to help. When I saw thinners on the suggestion list, I had to say something to prevent you having to find a bodyshop to repaint your glue less and paint less panel[emoji1] http://www.johnmitchellracing.co.uk

I do hope for your engines sake this is not the oil buzzer. Failing it being a faulty sensor or wiring defect, that's potentially game over for the engine. Some immediate diagnostics required here and I would recommend for peace of mind, you get a workshop oil pressure testing gauge fitted to the engine and confirm the actual oil pressure situation. Doing this will confirm wether or not you have a real oil pressure fault. From cold you should see between 5 to 6 bar oil pressure, reducing to 2 to 3 bar when at temperature, both at idle and 2000 rpm. The minimum oil pressure to be seen is 2 bar at 2000 rpm on oil temp of 80 degrees C. As long as you have this you can breath a sigh of relief and then go looking for the electrical issue that caused your heart to skip a beat.

I wish I could gather every "universal" wheel spacer in this Isle and stick the blooming lot in the melting pot. They are responsible for so many issues of this kind. As you have said, buy yourself some quality hubcentric spacers, specific to your PCD and then get your alignment sorted by a specialist who knows what they are doing and I feel sure your issue will be gone. We, as a KW approved outlet, use the all new ST range of spacers which are beautifully engineered to cover every requirement. KW / ST products, along with wheel alignment are a mainstay service that we offer. If you fancy a trip to the sunny south coast of Sussex, we'd love to resolve your situation [emoji106] http://www.johnmitchellracing.co.uk

Pagid sensors from Euros are ok, but by preference Genuine from TPS is the way to go. Fitting is a little more than just a nut and bolt mission. But as said by others, it's typical to strip away the discs to gain access and then drive them out with a stout punch. Before fitting the new sensors you will need to clean out the holes into which they fit and ensure the sensors are not forced at all into the location point. Not a bad job at all and well within the able enthusiast remit. Point to note, it's worth changing the abs rotors pressed onto the inner disc at the same time, as these corrode badly and can cause abs issues by changes to the critical air gap, or scuff your new sensors.

What spacers are you using? Have you had your alignment checked. Given that the tyres are not old and gone hard, running at the correct pressures, the wheels are in good order, then you need to go deeper into the issue. The sensation of a light front end, that feels unplanted is indicative of an alignment issue, if all other factors are sound.

I would recommend you go to a good motor factor or trade valeting supplier like Autosmart and get 5 litre can of tar and glue remover. This will break down the glue without damage to the paint, and you won't need ---- loads of elbow grease [emoji1][emoji106]
