I'm in America at the moment and have been looking at the prices of parts and cars. Used parts are just as expensive here as in the UK but the aftermarket parts/upgrades are much cheaper
-
I have no issues paying and really value the forum. I'm keen to see the outcome, good luck
-
Hi Anna, thanks for doing this. Do you know when all the parts will be up on your website?
-
I've been fairly quiet recently due to various commitments but there has been a lot going on with the car. It's currently in at the dyno getting re-wired and then will be mapped for well over 300bhp! I'll try and get some pictures up but if you want to see on my instagram @oliwbrett there's a few there. There's the addition of a carbon extended spoiler and a red heckblende to tie in the rear red lights. So essentially the car is very nearly on the road, just need to somehow get an MOT on it

LWS Design - Carbon or GRP Tailgate.... Finally

I'd be very interested in front wings for mine. I already have one of the original LWS carbon bonnets which looks great -
Got mine and all fitted up. Just what i needed, thanks
-
Rear number plate plinth would be great
-
Awesome thanks. I’ve got some early style ones that I’ll chop some holes into for the switches
-
A little off topic but the difference between the early and late style door pods having the window switches mounted in them. Does anyone know if the late style were simply holes cut into the door pod to accept the window switch or were they recessed or similar?
-
i'd be up for the smaller version, thanks for your effort
-
thanks for the info, normally avoid the dealers as pretty much everything is obsolete now
-
Thanks fellas. I've just bought a new one
-
I’m looking for a good condition headlight switch for a late style car. Please let me know what you’ve got. Thanks
-
i'm still interested, please don't give up. thanks

Four cylinder turbo is boring? I beg to differ
-
No love for the 16v? I'm not disputing either the G60 or VR6 being great engines but a well tuned 16v is a great engine if you like to go for a blast, rev nicely and are typically a lot cheaper to buy initially

time for an update. I have bought and stripped down another AMK engine as i wasn't happy with the first one. The bores and block are in a bit better shape and has far less mileage on it. I have a Bosch 044 fuel pump to replace the factory original pump for more power and reliability. I've picked up some Audioscape speaker pods for the front door cards as i couldn't hear a thing from the speakers over the induction and exhaust last time out. These took me ages to find a pair and are in perfect condition, never been fitted before, just stored for years. Another small distraction is this car: https://uk-mkivs.net/topic/21151-25th-anniversary-gt28rs-hmmm-its-back/page-8?hl=(((25th%20anniversary%20gt28rs))) A little bit of nostalgia, was built by the guy in the link then was owned by Vick from Edition38 for a while. Has since been well kept and garaged. it's a friends that's in my garage which needs a bit of a service, a new fuel pump and a rolling road session to get it right again but should be looking for over 400bhp. I'm not sure what power it is running now but i know that it goes well

i'm set at -1 degree on the standard bolts and kw coillies
-
Any closer, I’m dying to give you my money
-
Let me know if you're selling please
-
Good luck with it and nice one for saving the car

After losing all motivation I’m back at it again. Spent a couple of hours today fitting up a new straight through center section for the exhaust as it was too quiet before and have removed the sump then popped the pistons and rods out the top of the block. I’ll get an engine builder to gap my new rings and then I’ll reassemble with forged rods but use the standard pistons
