Thanks, it should be good as long as I don’t bankrupt myself in the process. I’ve fitted an 02J and swapped the cables too plus with an lsd in the 02J, just to have a stronger more modern box. There was nothing wrong with the ctn, just a change of plan. I was considering putting in a six speed but think the five speed may be better suited for a torquey turbo engine

As above. Probably best looking for a six cylinder box

    Gearbox

I have for sale my CTN code gearbox which is in very good working order and has been filled with fresh gearbox oil approximately 2000 miles ago. This box was originally on a Passat diesel and is ideal for higher powered engines or if you're after a bit higher gearing for motorway driving. It has been cleaned and painted black which looks smart. It has been very smooth to use and well looked after (I have a lot of mechanical sympathy) Collection from Colchester near the A12 or I can travel within reason £225 ono
  5. Is there any other simple way of posting pictures that I've missed and should be using?
  6. Good effort. Being in the bay rattle can finish is usually ok. Is it still on for a g60 or something else?

Slowly but surely. I'd get some pictures up but not having much luck without Tapatalk. I've got a bracket for the dbw throttle pedal made There is now a Turbo Dynamics hybrid K04 in the mix I have a Peloquin LSD to help put some power down I have a stripped, cleaned and rebuilt cylinder head to go on I've run the cables for a clutch switch if I want to use it in the future for things like launch control and flat shift I've added a lambda sensor and the egt wiring for the Emerald ECU The old cylinder head is off and in good condition There is a big crack in both the hotside of the turbo and the exhaust manifold that I removed, so happy I took that apart and didn't just get it mapped as is I should easily get over 300 bhp but not sure how much more. The limiting factor will be the exhaust manifold. But I'm not sure it is worth chasing much more power than that and I'll concentrate on getting the bodywork sorted instead, hopefully some more carbon parts
  8. That looks excellent, I'm very jealous as I can't wait to get on a proper race track
  9. I like the head unit, especially with the bluetooth
  10. Ive had a reply from the chap at Tapatalk: That forum currently does not have the Tapatalk plugin installed, that's why you cannot log in via the app. An email was sent to the forum owner about this, though the email was sent a couple weeks ago. Chris Tapatalk Support
  11. If there is a picture it's easy to tell. The TT bushes are solid rubber and the normal more standard bush has indents in the rubber which allow more movement/comfort
  12. I've reported the problem to them. I'd like to get some pictures up but can't log in
  13. How are the bushes? These can cause pulling and vibration under braking
  14. Keep up the progress, it will soon take shape. I’ve got a few parts if you need anything also most of a K04 setup spare

Do G60s not have a high pressure pump under the car?

    Dash cam

I've not got one in my Corrado but in my A4 I have a Ddpai M6 plus. It's quite small and the picture quality is excellent
  18. I went to a 3” turbo downpipe. They do make them a fair bit louder though when n/a
  19. Thanks, I’m not after one but just saying that if you sold yours, I have one too that I don’t need
  20. Liking the carbon parts. Where did you get the front wings from?
  21. Looks great. Have you had a look at fitting the dbw throttle pedal yet? I'm just about to fit mine and it looks like a right ball ache, I'd appreciate any advice

    9a throttle body

I have one from a '95 car. I'll send you pictures and a price later today
  23. I'm very jealous if you can do your own fab work. You'll probably find your gearbox very short on the ratios with more torque added with a fair bit of wheel spin, it could be worth fitting a different box at this stage whilst it's apart. An oversize TIP always give a nice little chunk of extra power on the induction side if it helps. Can't wait to see it in the car and running, the turbo engines are very addictive and I'm sure you'll be after more power soon
  24. I'd also send you in the direction of Trackslag for one of their downpipes plus Autosiliconehose for bits and pieces of plumbing
