It's not as permenant but have you considered vinyl stickers for the wording?
-
Great car. Have you any interior and engine shots?
-
Looking good
-
definitely keep it away from the bin. I was only 3 years old
-
The fogs look pretty good with the mesh, I may have a go at that. I'm not such a fan of the number plate standing off but can see how it would work, I don't want to draw attention to it. I'm thinking of maybe a mix of cut out in the number plate recess with the plate re-attached flush but with the lettering cut out

STU175's White G60. 22 years and still not finished!!!

I'll be there for sure, will be great to see everyone -
that is on my mind and i'm thinking of how to go about it. The lower section of the intercooler is in line with the lower grille of the bumper, so there is some airflow there. One thing I try to avoid is hacking the car up in any way if I can avoid it. I may be able to duct in from the foglights ala Cult Society ducts or the numberplate recess may get some large holes in. I am fully open to suggestions on this if anyone has any ideas

I'm glad you've got it up and running. I want my bay to look as smart as yours! -
I'm hoping very soon. I'm waiting for my final bill and a few finishing touches. I've got the cash for it and getting very itchy to get it sorted
-
I know. Should have a higher resistance though

The LEDs were can bus supposedly. The badges are 3D printed from Peter Black who is on this forum. I bought them some time ago when I still had my blue car. They came with red font originally
-
With the red rear lights I've used an amber led to solve them flashing red. This caused the indicators to flash too fast so now that the connectors for the side repeaters are redundant I've fitted in some resistors and am back to flashing normally I've finally got round to fitting my 20v badges after painting them silver

looks great, i'll keep an eye out for you. I've got some 11mm hub centric spacers on mine. Can send you a link if you're interested

Has anyone seen in the June issue of Modern Classics? There is a small article with Kip VW on the number plate which is just on about pricing and how the Corrado is one to watch. I may go and buy another one to stash
-
i'd be super interested if these could be made
-
I'll get in on a CORRADO font one. Interested if there will be enough for a quick group buy too?
-
I have a set of early front and rear door cards with green fleck in good condition if you're interested?

You're car really looks stunning. I imagine the judge has picked up on the reservoirs and the stickers over the fan. Good luck for the rest of the year

A bit of a change of heart about the Turbo Technics boost gauge, I've decided to fit the Stack gauge instead It's turning out to be a nice place to be in this car I've fitted up the new smoothed wings and refitted the arch liners too I'm pretty much there with the build for now. Next step will be the engine bay tidy up but have nowhere to put the engine whilst I'm working, see my for sale ad

I'm not 100% on the mileage as I believe it to either be rebuilt or non-original to the car but for the month I was driving the car it was very strong and fires up straight away with no issues. The previous owner, Karmanski is on this forum so may be able to chime in Let me know if you would like more details Cheers

For sale I have my 2.0 16v 9a It is in full working order and can be seen running prior to removal if needed. The engine has had lots of work and runs well, very smooth, no smoke what so ever £400 with all ancillaries and ecu Can do a deal for a long block if the ancillaries are not wanted Thanks Oli

I've had a busy couple of days working in the car. Most of the front end has been removed to replace the wings that have a bit of rot at the bases and to attempt to fit in the intercooler and oil cooler in preparation for the turbo engine I'm mega happy that there is no rust either side I need to make up a couple of brackets to secure the top of the intercooler and oil cooler With the bumper fitted you wouldn't know it was there
