could someone tell me the part number for a bosch lambda sensor to fit a 2.0 16v 9a engine. i've got the part number 0258003165 on one website but another tells me that part number is for a g60 :cuckoo:
-
just to jump in on this, how often is it worth replacing the inserts, o-rings, etc? I don't particullarly know the history of the engine in mine
-
i never did get to the bottom of it. it has gone away though after the rolling road setup and also changing the isv. good luck in getting it sorted. definately get the fault codes read though

i've just read through your entire thread giving me ideas for my 9a c. fantasic car you have

i just gave them a phone call. incredibly helpful people :salute:

for anyone interested, i've just ordered this morning a set of the stainless kw v1 coillies from tuning werkes for £615 delivered. i think that saved me about £115 off full retail. i'll post up when i've got them on
-
I had exactly the same experience. The coil you need to ask for is the one for the kr engine. Good luck

a little update, been out tonight and took a couple of pics on the way home considering it's got 2 coats of polish and i even polished the wheels with my rim wax which is a rarity for me.2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfnight1.jpg[/attachment:3o5xeb62]night.jpg[/attachment:3o5xeb62] i also have plans a foot to take the c across europe towards the end of next summer as the car is very nearly up and together. next on the list is coilovers which hopefully i'll be ordering next month along with new top mounts. if anyone has any advise please chip in

failing that use double sided tape but make sure it's the 3M stuff. It's very sticky and withstands the weather well

It has had a new lamda and I was thinking about it down the pub last night with it being a pattern part and reading a while back that they can misbehave. I can't figure how it can run fine at the moment though. Also which make lamda should I fit?
-
Can do. May take me a little while as I'll have to go to the garage and see if they can email them or out them on a disc for me plus I'm away with work. Will put them in my members gallery section when I have them. Car feels very good to drive now and could probably put out more power but was tuned for a bit more mid range grunt

I've had running problems on my 2.0 16v 9a. The car has been well gone through with all the timing checked and correct and all new engine sensors bar the hall sender. The symptoms are that under normal, gentle driving it feels very slow to pick up and hesitant when cruising at a constant speed but clears immediately as soon as I get my foot right down. Last night I disconnected the battery and left if for about 30 mins. After reconnecting it started and ran fine and still fine this morning going to work. Could my problem lie in my ecu or would this suggest something else? Thanks

I had my car rolling roaded before doing the cam and then setup on the rollers after. From this I gained an extra 15 bhp. Definately worth having the fueling properly tweeked

if it helps you i have a jetex 3 box stainless cat-back. it's nicely made and loud enough (not much more than standard, but mine was full of holes). in hein sight i wish at the same time i'd ditched the cat and gone for a bypass pipe as well but that can come later.
-
this looks good fun. are you going to upgrade any parts or just replace with standard and make nice?
-
looking sweet, is that a full rebuilt engine or your current one with painted bits?
-
update time, finally got new wheels on after feeling a bit skint and holding out on tyres but fitted a couple of toyo t1r to it
-
cheers, just bought a set of bbs rx to go on. should be collecting them tomorrow.

i always get a bit nervous at mot time when it's the first one i'll have stuck on the car. looking at getting a set of kw v2 coillies unless anyone can reccomend another set and a at the moment a big tidy up including a bit of paint. there's a couple of rust bubbles under the paint round the rear vw badge so will get the back end smoothed and holes deleted under the corrado badge but probably stick that back on. good luck with the g60 joe
-
cheers joe. i didn't know there was a rolling road day on. i had it on the rollers before i did the camshaft so need to do it again. only trouble is i've just gone to tax the car and realised the mot is expired :brickwall:
