I think I levered the ball joint out of the roller, slid the roller along the channel and out. Rolled the new roller down the channel and used pump pliers to press the ball into the new roller, then repeat. Save the best till last and it will hold the regulator in place whilst you work on the other.

Its been a long time since I did mine, the hardest thing was finding the door card screws I seem to remember. Rattling glass is a sign the rollers are worn / dropping out of the channel

The white nylon rollers (2 per side) run in a horizontal track at the bottom of the doors, one of mine on the drivers door (so used most) was in poor condition and falling out of the channel leaving the glass banging around in the door.

Before you refit the door card have you checked the window rollers?

The Vauxhall’s rims are 110 PCD so won’t fit.

There's a really funny performance thread on VR6OC on FB - look for a pic of a nice skimmed 12V head, worthy of a chuckle

A faulty crank sensor gives no spark or fuel injected - the ecu doesn’t know where the engine is in its cycle. If is a dizzy engine take the cap off and look for water ingress. Have a look at the large round multi plug on the engine for ingress and corrosion. After cranking and a non start pull a plug out and see if it’s wet with fuel to confirm the injectors are firing.

The price has jumped up quite a bit

Its quite a famous thread that mods had to tidy a few times as some members tried to buy and others gave opinions as to the price and its value. Its a rare item and they don't come up for sale often

The Schrick tried to balance the inlet runners front and back, big banana, smaller banana etc

My 90 8V came alive with a ported head, exhaust and AmD (then of Oxford) chip, 128 BHP sounds puny by todays standards, but its one car I wished I'd never sold.

Multi Layer Steel head gasket, reputed to raise compression

Not mine, but shows how nice these cars are with subtle mods https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volkswagen-Corrado-1800-16v/254260141833?hash=item3b3315df09:g:RDoAAOSwZrBc~sr5&frcectupt=true

MOT pre 1992 doesn’t need a cat, so tell them the engine is 1991 and it has to meet non cat specs only.
