  1. I have a pair of mk4 rear callipers, one has a ripped dust cover, both handbrake levers move freely, ideal for rebuild, the car was on the road just a month ago £10 collected nr Crewe Cheshire
  2. Oh right, it read to me like they'd been in sprinter previously and you wanted to reprint them here.
  3. Sprinter content would be copywrited to CCGB? You’d need their permission.
  4. On UK cars the pipe passes through the radiator crossmember loops around and passes back through the crossmember. Its just 1/2 inch steel or alloy pipe crimped to rubber. Personally I'd just replace the broken part, non OE parts aren't the same quality and don't last anywhere near as long?
  5. Few of the committee post here anymore, they used to be here virtually every night.
  6. Searched RV125 and vanvan without success?
  7. Cant find it on FB? Is it on a forum or market place?
  8. Maybe you should post a list of the enquirers 24 hours before you make your decision to weed out any potential breakers / resellers known to the forum?
  9. Is it a full size adult bike? Difficult to tell on a phone- looks cool

  11. I bought a 96 VR6 in 99 after owning a tight handling MK2 8V, awful car to drive on a road with a bend in it. Fitted Koni and Eibachs and it was still poor. I've also owned a MK3 TDi estate with a weitec kitand G60 brakes on it and it could take a bend quite well - a combination of the diesel engine leaning back towards the bulkhead (opposed to the VR6 leaning forwards towards the rad pack) and the extra weight behind the rear axle helped I think. MK3s rust badly too, MK4s are built much better IMO
  12. Its probably 10 years ago now, I can't remember the colour TBH (he only drove once in it, had to borrow cars or we drove on his behalf when it wouldn't start lol - the last thing you want after a 12 hour night shift is a car that won't start!), the other guy was in mid wales and blocked all contact when things started going wrong
  13. A car sharing friend had a coupe turbo for s brief period (off the swapz website - buyer beware! via an alfa 147), intermittent starter by all accounts and after many RAC visits (to the point they refused further visit for the same fault) and garages the loom behind the dash was all burnt up. the car left with the garage to cover the bill, an expensive lesson learned. A Corrado with a Fiat engine would be different?

    Ant's VR6

Sounds like the alternator is turning too slowly, is the pulley larger than the original? Golf V5 starter is an upgrade for the VR6. Sometimes its amazing how gremlins disappear after a cars been laid up?
  17. Just saw an ad for a program on C4 for Monday night 10PM, The End of the @@@@@@@@ World where "Bonnie" is sat inside a Blackberry C?

  20. https://www.europaspares.com/vdo-temperature-sender.html Note selection for thread size and temp ranges. https://www.europaspares.com/oil-pressure-gauge-t-pieces.html For individual gauges only (ie not corrado specific) https://www.europaspares.com/vdo-3-way-connector.html
  21. They're real easy to install, I did 3 individual gauges in my MK2 Golf. All 3 need a fused power supply - just loop gauge to gauge. All 3 need a ground wire, just loop gauge to gauge. That's the Volt meter complete. The temp gauge needs a single wire to the sender, I fitted mine to the sump, drilled and tapped sump plugs are available (you need 10mm X 1mm threads for both senders). The pressure gauge also needs a single wire to its sender, the sender usually replaces an existing sender and has 2 connections, one for the dash, another for the gauge. If space is an issue for the bulkier gauge sender you can buy Y pieces or extension pieces for the 10 x 1 senders from the likes of Europa, Merlin motorsports, Demontweeks etc
  22. When running rough you could pull each lead off in turn to see if it’s cylinder related? A good cylinder would see the idle worsen
  23. Golf MK4 V5 starter fits and those who have say its an upgrade / improvement
